WE ARE REQUESTING INSURANCE INFORMATION!! LONG REVIEW WORTH THE READ Double check the work or watch them the entire time literally. Don’t just be home. Take pictures for before and after if you are not watching them actively. Highly suggested. I don’t know where or how to start with this. Maybe by stating that they should treat each customer's house as if it was their own mothers house. My mom is 61, however we both insist on doing home projects instead of hiring people when we can to avoid getting ripped off. One of those tasks was to fix all of the fallen insulation underneath her 20+ year old house, which we did last summer. ZAP employees came and ripped our door off its hinges, tore the insulation above the air handler down and didn’t put it back up, one of them was a real Grinch and even took the lightbulb. They left their trash and no evidence of broken glass so don’t let them try to convince you they broke it. They didn’t fully attach ducts to the new air handler. There are probably more issues that I am currently unaware of but I keep checking and finding more each time I look as we patiently wait for them to take care of everything as they said they would after we contacted them about all these issues. Added edit: found another issue: An air duct tied tightly to half its size instead of just using another 3-4 feet of HVAC tape to let it hang like it should be. They’ll probably also try to respond to this saying our door had wood rot which I am not denying however we’ve been here 4 years. I have actively kept the garden pots in the crawlspace, we had three other HVAC companies come give us estimates. The door was on just fine until these guys came and left. I have a video from the morning they came. I prepped the crawlspace with the lightbulb lights on and I opened the door for them. To add to the list of issues, we have a new moisture issue in the basement which they say is normal but if you see the attached pictures and videos I don’t think anyone would say it's normal. Nor will the termite inspector when he comes again considering he pointed out an unknown leak we had under the master tub that we fixed. Overall highly unsatisfied. I would highly suggest standing right there and watching them as they work if you don’t want your house messed up.

Thank you Aiden and your mom for meeting with me about the situations you listed above. I will start off with it is admirable that you look out for your mom's best interest. I wish people did that more often. We all make mistakes but it is how we handle them that is everything. I listed the situations below with the end result. 1.) The crawlspace door did fall off during our work. The install team tried to reattach it but the wood was rotten enough that the screws would not hold. We did not communicate that issue to you when it happened and we should have. It was attached when we originally arrived and should have been when we left. It is taken care of now. 2.) There was a small piece of insulation above the air handler missing. I looked and did not see it laying around but is taken care of now. 3.) I did not see any trash left behind upon my visit. I did have a technician a few days there before me. He probably cleaned the area up of any trash. It is taken care of. 4.) Our scope of work did not include any duct work replacement or repair. I did give you some advice on how and the materials required to do it yourself. 5.) You do have high levels of humidity in your crawlspace area. I did see evidence of prior condensation problems. I did see condensation on the air handler, ductwork and other things in the crawlspace. We discussed in detail on how to bring the humidity levels down to a normal level. I was glad we were able to discuss these issues and resolve them. Remember your mom has a 2 year labor warranty and a 10 year factory parts warranty. Please give us a call if you have any issues with your equipment. ZAP Cooling & Heating Team

I can't say enough good things about this company! Robbie was fantastic! Great customer service which is very hard to find these days. Just an all around GREAT experience. Will definitely refer to other folks, and use them again if needed. Excellent pricing, showed up early which is even better than on time, communicated everything clearly, and I was never made to feel that my phone call was bothering them or interrupting them. Thank you Robbie and the folks at ZAP! Y'all are AWESOME!
