I will never ever go back to this Hospital ever again!! from the moment we arrived until 3 hours later when we left they were rude, slow, inconsiderate. When I arrived the young lady at the Emergency Room check-in desk just sat there on a laptop watching movie! When I asked her if she was going to help me she just looked at me and said "when I get a second". She picked up her phone and started texting and then answered me! 😡😡😡 I do not know her name but she was well dressed, African American, orange or red dreadlocks. After we got back to a room 2 hours later. My daughter was in severe pain and they would not give her any kind of medication not even so much as a Tylenol. The male nurse wasn't necessarily rude but not friendly at all. At one point I stepped out into the area where the nurses sit and they were doing absolutely nothing! The same male nurse at had his feet propped up on his desk and it looked like he was shopping!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I even took a picture of it! Very unprofessional! The next time we have an emergency we will pass this place up and go straight to the Lady of the Lake or Lane Memorial. The few extra minutes to get to either one of these hospitals will be well worth the service, attitude and professionalism that is lacking at West Feliciana Hospital. I could ask for a manager or someone who is in charge of these people but it would do absolutely no good from what I have been told..

Friendly and helpful staff. I have never waited for any services. They always see me immediately. We have a wonderful hospital considering we are a small town. Other medical personnel have commented that images taken at our hospital are high resolution and easy to read.

Worst ever! Whoever wore a South Carolina tshirt needs a class in compassion. I brought my 2 year old here because she had a high fever anD it was late. Since we don’t have after hour clinics here my choices were limited. My daughter hates medicine and they wanted me to give her Tylenol and Motrin to help her fever. Well I attempted she gagged and I couldn’t force it. I told this discharge nurse that she will throw up if I attempt giving it to her again. His exact words were well when she gets a fever of 103 or 104 she will throw up also. He was so rude with his looks and words. I responded I understand but she won’t take it and he responded ok well you are free to go. It’s a shame this is how patients are treated when they don’t feel well. Management needs to address this for their patients.
