      I don't know what others in the reviews are talking about (referring to the 1 star reviews here), I had west country replace my entire HVAC system to include the heating side of it and also all of the vents and ducting throughout my house. They did it all which took a little longer than the ESTIMATED time they gave. (They call it an estimated time for a reason people, estimated time does not mean that's when they will be actually done with the whole project, estimated times can't account for any problems or complications that can only be found and addressed during the actual installation) The technician's were professional, they cleaned up after themselves each day during the project, they were never rude, and when one technician was confused about something he asked another (which is something I wish more technicians IN ALL FIELDS would do) to help him with the problem. As for mistakes made during installation, yes there was one minor issue that showed up later down the road (months after installation was complete), but one call and they came out a day later and fixed it, to me that's not a problem that's a company that does what it says it will do. I never had any issues over the phone either the answering staff was friendly, competent, and when they couldn't answer a question they got someone on the line that could, I never once received the runaround either. Even when there was a small accident during installation and the workers made a big hole in the ceiling drywall, this company remained professional, they did not try to place blame on me and patched the hole temporarily and had a contracted drywaller come out after installation to fix the hole properly. During my whole experience with west Country I never once had any problem with the office staff or any of their technicians that came out before, during, and after installation. Also Regarding the price of the whole installation (even after I requested them to replace the ducting throughout my whole house halfway through the unit installation), was just over $9,000 for everything. If I had tried going through another home depot or Lowe's or even Costco (which I did check prices through them before I went to West Country) I would have wound up spending anywhere between $20,000 and $30,000 for the exact same type of equipment and installation, yes that included the ducting replacement as well. My final statement regarding West Country Heating and Air, they are a very good company and do quality work, I would recommend them to anyone that asks me, and in point of fact I have recommended them to several friends and family as well. If they are still around when my unit needs to be replaced again I will go through West Country Heating and Air again for a new unit. And lastly my reason for giving 4 stars, most reviews on google that are 5 stars tend to be over hyped or possibly fake reviews (though fake not being likely here) and most readers tend to ignore the 5 star reviews (I know I do) and reading 1 star reviews is pointless because most if not all of them are written by unhappy customers who didn't like one small aspect of the whole project done by the company and simply want to discredit them with more than likely false or incorrect information. (reviews should never be written while angry because you tend to forget and/or over exaggerate details of what made you upset at the company in the first place.) You should not judge a company on problems with an installation that most times can't be identified during initial installation of the unit and almost never show up until the unit has been running for awhile or started up for the first time.

      I love the service from this company. Miguel is awesome and so knowledgeable. I had an issue with the heating system. Miguel came out and knew what the issue was. The repair happened a few days later due to a part that needed to be ordered. When the part arrived, Miguel came back and took care of the issue. Now my home is warm and cozy. Thank you Miguel

      Please shop around. Last summer Tech. Miguel Mendez provided me a diagnosis and quote to have my duct work re-designed to FIX my ac, he even convinced me to join their “Comfort Club Membership”… long story short. The new duct work DID NOT fix my AC… $2,000 was spent on this. They sent another tech and provided me supplemental quote for an additional $5,000 to fix the problem. I was very upset and disappointed. Had to share my experience.

      We are extremely disheartened to receive this sort of review from you as we have been working with you diligently over the past year trying to get your 30-year-old system running like new all the while working out a payment schedule that better suited your financial situation on a month to month basis. The original service call was for "one bedroom and the living room doesn't get cold air" which we then found ductwork falling apart and in poor condition. We replaced the ductwork and resolved that issue. It was later discovered that the refrigeration system had leaks in the equipment. We then provided multiple options to repair the system ranging from $2600 to $5500 and we then offered a 5% discount to help with the cost of repair. All 3 options were declined at that time. Sometimes, when dealing with 30+ year old systems, the system may require multiple repairs. We wish that every system we run into only had 1 problem and that will resolve the issue but that rarely happens with outdated equipment.
