  My well connect has only been running for 3-4 months, but I cannot give a high enough review based on my experience. The unit itself runs on a small amount of electricity, especially when compared to the savings it gave me in propane expense. I’m located in New York State and it has been cold this winter, even by NYS standards. Today is 2/23/2022 and since 1/1/2022 the whole geothermal system has cost me about $200 to run and based on the data logger on the unit, the propane offset has been about 345 gallons. The propane cost in my area is around $2.50 / gallon so my savings has been about $650 over that seven-week period. I’ve also had my thermostat set to 72 degrees F the entire time, much higher than I had it set when I was heating with propane only. The savings alone makes this unit well worth the investment, but it has improved the comfort of our home as well! I received the unit just a few days after ordering it and was able to install it myself. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and the technical support was accessible and helpful with questions that I had when I was installing it. I’m looking forward to the air conditioning in the summer months and will update my review once I’ve had a chance to try it!

  I have been using the WellConnect system at my home in Northern Michigan for more than two years. I have been very happy with my decision, the performance of the WellConnect system, and with the responsiveness of the WellConnect Engineering team to help me understand the nuances of operating a geothermal system. I have realized the following benefits of the WellConnect system. 1) My primary motivation was the promise of reducing heating costs. I now purchase far less propane today than prior to installing WellConnect. 2) I was considering adding air conditioning to my existing forced air system, when I learned that WellConnect provides air conditioning in addition to the heating function. Nice bonus! 3) The temperature in my home is more consistent throughout. Specifically, the basement is warmer in the winter, and the second story bedroom level is cooler in the summertime using WellConnect. 4) Another advantage that may be overlooked, is that because the forced-air furnace is used far less with WellConnect acting as primary heat source, I would expect it to last more years than if it remained as primary. 5) Finally, the function and performance of the WellConnect and my furnace can be monitored in real-time using the online data logger. The WellConnect Engineering team can also see this same data while talking with me on the telephone so I can understand system performance. I would be happy to share my personal experience with anyone.

  Well Connect saves us over $2000.00 worth of propane per year and only increases our electric bill by about $1000.00 per year. Coupled with the nice tax credit, not to mention the additon of central air conditioning which we never had before, Well Connect is a no-brainer. We will never own another house without it.
