  Aways finding great local foods...been enjoying local fresh mushrooms and homemaker kimchi this year. Latest crop of my favorite "classic" apples coming in season: Cortland, Empire, etc.. Autumn squashes just starting to become available...(arrive early for best parking).

  Such an awesome little Farmers Market small and quaint but still tons of great things to look at and purchase and taste really loved the food truck live music and area for kids to explore.

  The Watauga County Farmers Market is a must visit. Wonderful people and alot of locally grown item as well as crafts. You have to go there and pick up some goods.
