I had used Ward's in the past for a few service calls and their technicians were always awesome! When I decided to replace my older HVAC, I called Ward's for an estimate. Their price for a Bryant (which is a Carrier in disguise!) was significantly less than PSE&G or Horizon for a better system. On the day of installation, two technicians arrived on time and walked me through the process. Then they got to work. They were clean and respectful of my house and property. It was obvious that both were professional and knowledgeable. The one technician even went as far as crafting the reducer in the main duct on the spot, by hand. After the installation was complete, they cleaned up all trash and removed the old equipment and then made sure I understood how to operate everything. If you are looking for a great, local company with great people, I would highly recommend Ward's. I am completely satisfied with their work.

Family owned and operated ,  I have known the Ward family for years and I would recommend them highly.

During last heatwave I called Ward and despite being new customer,  the nice lady on phone squeezed me in on a Friday afternoon. Sal came out, he was very professional,  helpful and friendly. He  gladly answered all my questions  and explained  everything. That  has not always been my experience with other companies! Sal quickly and inexpensively solved problem. I will use them again.

Courteous and helpful staff on the phone. Courteous and helpful staff who go to you site for you heating and a/c needs. Staff also arrives in the allotted time that they say they will arrive and they will also let you know ahead of time when they are approaching your location.  I definitely recommend this company for your maintenance needs and for installation of new heating and a/c unit if your existing unit(s) needs replacements

Was scheduled for a 3:30 pm appointment.  I had to seek permission from my boss to leave work early in order to make the appointment.  I received a confirmation text and e-mail.  It is now 4:30 pm and no one has arrived yet.  No one called either.  I am now just sitting here like an idiot waiting for these people to arrive.  Meanwhile the entire rest of my day is on hold.  Might I mention I live within walking distance from this place and yet they still are oven an hour late.  I tried to support a local business but this particular business is obviously no good.  Very unprofessional.  I will not be using them for my service.

Update:  Over 2 hours later I finally get a call from 'Sal', telling me he was on the way.  I told him not to bother coming because he was over two hours late.  Sal basically acted like a jerkoff and didn't seem to care that he was over two hours late with no notification.   These people obviously don;t run a good business and if their work is anywhere near as bad as their customer service, then this company is not worth using.  I'd rather freeze than give my business to these people.

I'm sorry for your experience and wish I saw this sooner.  We normally don't schedule appointments this late in the day unless it's an emergency.  In this case it's considered an after hours call.  The scheduler was trying to accommodate your request due to your work schedule.  In addition, it is company policy to always give an "arrival window" and not an exact time.  Unfortunately, HVAC service is not an exact science and we never know how long each service call will take. Yet, there's no excuse for the scheduling department not explaining this arrival window.  Sal has been with us for over 20 years and this is the first time we ever received a complaint about him. In fact, he is one of our most requested technicians. Again, I'm sorry about your experience, but appreciate you bringing this to my attention.  I'll be sure to tell the schedulers to emphasize the arrival window.
