Let me start by saying I can only speak on the electrical program. I never attended any others. Pros- the admin girls are super nice and helpful. They give a very warm welcome which makes you excited about the place. The facility is grand. They have a bunch of equipment for you to practice on. Ample parking. The folks you’ll be in school with are like minded so it isn’t somebody just taking the class for a grade. Cons- the instructors. They need experienced instructors who can teach. They all seem to great guys, but they need to learn how to teach. They seem awkward or shaky. It’s very apparent. If you just want the classes for the journeyman license then go for it. If you learn a particular way and you need someone who has teaching experience to connect with, I would advise against this place. PS- If you decide this place is right for you, ask about the grants available.

This is by far the best school on the east coast!!!! I say this because; Reason 1. Not only do you get hands on training guided by instructors that are field tried and tested, but you graduate with the skills needed to excel in life without the big community college bill over your head!!! Reason 2. Cleanest school I've seen. These community colleges don't have Mr.T!!! He is the facility sanitary technician and he takes his job and your health very seriously. It's nothing more assuring than seeing the place cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout the course of your school day. He made me feel comfortable going home to my family at the end of the day with all that is going on pandemic wise. Reason 3. Administration really cares. They take the time to help you chart a path that is best for you. Gwen is a guardian angel that will not see you fail!! From the initial tour until I graduated she has been there every step of the way helping and advising. You want a job? She'll get you that too!!! Before I graduated properties already knew my name and were interested in me!! Reason 4. Dave is the founder and Guru of all things, but don't be surprised if one day he strolls in your class with his sleeves up! Buckle your seatbelt, get your pen and pad out and get ready to learn! Yes the Founder does share his knowledge! Reason 5. Tail is the OG of Building Maintenance. The wisdom he gives you on a day to day basis will keep a light going off inside of your head. His real life expertise will soon have 2 hour jobs taking you 45 mins!! Reason 6. Marcus my HVAC instructor is also another diamond in rough. HVAC takes a lot of understanding and his knowledge and how he related it to the class had us hooking gauges up and pulling vacuums with confidence in less than 2 weeks!! I should've found this School years ago, the team there now is Awesome!! I owe these guys my success and anytime I can tell someone about VTA I will. VTA Alumni

Great company and great people. They have a variety of classes for reasonable prices. We have sent plenty of our maintenance staff at my job to take HVAC classes here and have not been disappointed. We continue to send our guys here for HVAC training. Highly recommend them!!
