  These guys have been great! Been working with them for years! I manage a local restaurant and they are the only ones that take calls for us anytime... 24 hrs. The guys are always cool and explain everything and the office actuslly returns calls and keeps me updated when I am expecting a job to be finished. No complaints here. If you need a reliable company for your commercial appliances and a.c. I recommend these guys.

  I am the Manager at Edible Arrangements Bakersfield, I was recommended by a family friend who specializes in refrigeration to use United. I called them out and they attempted to service our freezer. The technician didnt look like he knew what he was doing and he spent more time outside then inside with the unit. He quoted me $1,400 to repair the unit. I got a second opinion and was quited far less. We refused the repair and were still charged $240.00. I will never use this service again.

  Worst Ever!!! I just had the absolute worst experience with United Refrigeration. It started about the end of September when my icemaker stopped working. I was referred to United Refrigeration so I gave them a call. The technician came out and I told him that they are just replace the waterline for the building and I thought that the problem might be from particles from there working on the waterline. He was here for a few minutes and said that I needed a water pump. He told me the office would call me and tell me how much that was going to be. A little while later I got a call from their office and they told me it was going to be $900 for the water pump and installation. I was shocked and thought that was a tremendous amount of money for the water pump so I looked at the machine myself to see if I can find something wrong with it. I am not a mechanic or a technician by any stretch of the imagination but I did see a small particle that was keeping the water pump from spinning. I removed it and the icemaker work perfect. I could not believe that United Refrigeration came by and told me that I needed a new water pump and then it was going to be $900 to replace and it was exactly what I told the technician that it might've been. I I cannot believe that they would've tried to take such advantage of a business and to make things even worse they charge me $114 for the technician to come by and spend a few minutes and try to get me to spend 900 more dollars to replace a water pump they didn't need to be replaced. I talked to Claudia from their office and she wanted to know when I was going to make the payment I told her that I didn't think it was fair that he was only here for a few minutes miss diagnosed the problem and try to scam me into buying a water pump for $900 from them. She said she was going to talk to her manager, Mark and would call me right back. She called me back and said no that I had to pay the full amount and they didn't care that they misdiagnosed it. I said that wasn't right and as I was talking to her Mark got on the phone and I have never talk to him more unprofessional bigger jerk than that person. All he could do was yell interrupt and called names. So if you ever feel like you need to be raped or missed treated by a company, give them a call. I’ll let you know how this turns out… UPDATE!!!! The day after I post a bad review about United Refrigeration for their fraud practices, one of their employees, Kalynn Hall, posts a bad review on my site. Just another example of the horrible business practices of United Refrigeration. Note. Their only good reviews are the ones they wrote them selves.
