To enter Mexico from Texas is a ride, if you have a low car be careful not to scrap the bottom of your car, they have these awful speed bumps that I hate so much,  I wish they would lower them just a tad to not kill the undercarriage of peoples vehicles. That’s about my only complaint.

To exit Mexico to enter Texas at times can take a while. Holidays & Weekends expect to exit Mexico late. You can wait in the line from 10 minutes to 3 hours, it just depends. Use the restroom and make sure you have fuel cause it can be a long wait.

To add to my review, I had to change my rating from a Four Star to a Three Star. I am pretty upset that when entering Mexico, they have added new speed bumps, my car is very low, and I cannot have four people in the car when crossing. I had to have the passengers get out of my car so I could cross. The border patrol were mad and we had to explain that we are to heavy to be crossing. I understand why there is a need for speed bumps, but must they be so high. Please take into consideration all vehicle types. ☺️

Jan 2, 2022 - 6 Hours and 2 mile long wait to cross from Ojinaga to Presidio. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of pollution from the idling cars, and the business lost due to blocked driveways and intersections.  I was told by locals that this is the norm.

The whole process was pleasant. We weren’t harassed and the wait times were minimal. They checked our truck because we had a lot of stuff and were asked where we were coming from and where we were going. Standard. I’m just left wondering who the beautiful female officer with red lip stick and no ring was that I couldn’t peel my eyes off of. Lol. Thanks for that Presidio/Ojinaga patrol 10am. Can you even ask that without getting into trouble?

Folks, keep in mind that the customs officers are not there to appease anyone in regards to comfort or needs. They are there to enforce international border crossing laws. There are certains things you just cannot do or import/export from either country (U.S/Mexico). Speed bumps are high to prevent anyone from trying to speed through (mostly traffickers of drugs/weapons and individuals who may resist searches of their vehicles). It is a FEDERAL CRIME to cross many things and you cannot refuse a search as they will bring out a K9 unit out on you if they deem it necessary to confirm any suspicions about your vehicle and the contents with it. So plan your border crossing experience accordingly. If your car is too low to pass a speed bump, then have the extra passengers get out BEFORE reaching the US booth/tarp area if your entering Mexico. If you're entering the US, likewise, cross the bridge walking through immigration offices, pay the 4 pesos (toll) (it's less than a dollar) and have your documents ON HAND to present to the POLICE officers at the midway point. Then you'll be able to proceed onto US territory after getting through the walking line for US Customs. Because it is a small town and not a major metropolitan city they are usually severely understaffed, so don't waste your energy huffing and puffing about not getting fast service. This isn't a McDonald's drive-through. The percentage of inconvenienced people when compared to the percentage of people who try to cross illegally in both directions outweighs individuals need to feel treated special. Most of the officers on site are in fact REAL POLICE OFFICERS from higher up departments like the FBI, not just some security guy/gal; they got local cops inside Presidio for that stuff. Don't kid yourselves and get arrested for something stupid you could have avoided simply by being polite and let them do their job(s) which is to inspect you. They aren't Google maps or all knowing either, don't expect them to know all the answers..use your cell phone, you'll get way better results there, I promise. They work 12 to 16 hour shifts regardless of weather conditions, so remember that when you think they are A-holes because they ask you to cooperate and obey their posted Do's and DON'Ts. You wouldn't be super friendly either in their shoes. If you feel you are being treated wrong just because you're a U.S citizen, but don't see an obvious reason for how you are being treated..there's a good chance you're doing something wrong. I'm a U.S. citizen born and raised, I cross daily and know most of the staff on both ends of the crossing and have never had any issues with either. Traffic is the ONLY problem here because folks in the US side like to come shop for cheap and take it home to US turf; and like 98% of people act like they've never been through here, yet somehow have a lot of opinions on how they think this place should be run, which shows you HAVE crossed here before and you know the rules. Don't expect any empathy from me with those "I'm a U.S. victim" crocodile eyes most of you put up. MAN up. (skip the gender related commentary too, it applies to women too).

My hat is off to these people! They go out every day and do the best they can despite all the setbacks, sabotage, and disregard from left wing liberals. To all those who obstruct and oppose what these fine people do,,, understand that the right to oppose immigration laws that you are exercising now, are enabled by their daily dedication.  We are all free for a reason,,,, law and order. Without law and order you have pandemonium and lawlessness.  Without law and order there is no freedom. Support your CBP , they deserve every bit of it. God Bless the United States Of  America!

They have no customer service skills whatsoever, they are entitled, rude and disrespectful. I called to ask an extremely simple question about permits, and the guy couldn't be bother to answer, he hung up on me. This is how they treat US citizens, imagine everyone else.

I just called to ask a question and this rude man answered all with his attitude!! Dude your badge doesn’t make you more than any one else!! Relax you’re just a border patrol officer!! Or are you a border patrol officer? My point here.... BAD SERVICE!! RUDE GUY!!!

Really?....2 hours waiting to cross back into the U.S.... ,only 1 open lane! Understaffed, 104 degrees, no proper communication skills, pathetic.....
