Horrible customer service. I called to find out what their service fee was for house calls. First lady I spoke with didn't know and the lady who did was out to lunch, no big deal, I will call a few other places and call back. I get a phone call about 45 minutes later from a "Liz" who answered the phone with "How much are you looking to spend?" no introduction, no questions, nothing. just some lady who had no idea what she was doing or talking about. I said "excuse me?", she asked who she was speaking with. I asked her who I was speaking with since she called my number. That's when she said "Liz at Tri State" That sounds really trustworthy huh?. Sorry Liz but you blew that one....

We have had a bad experience to begin with, part of it was that we got a faulty thermostat and part of it was that our AC was a fairly new unit for this company to work around with. To this time, they are working with us to resolve the issue and make sure we are happy. Toby has always been wonderful and patient with us. And he is very knowledgeable as well.

If you are like me, and you need a reliable service provider with a good reputation, then keep looking. these guys are not it. They take advantage of their customers by charging $75 just to "show up" and tinker around. Then they will conveniently "disappear' for about 45 minutes getting a part. When all said and done you have about 2 hours wrapped up for a 15 minute job. The worst part about these guys, is that they tried to charge us $64 for a part we found online for $14. Please beware of this company. I had to call management, and they did refund the price of the part, but there is no way to calculate labor. these guys can take all day at your expense. they do not bid jobs by how long it should take. they bid jobs by how long it does take. I'm not exaggerating when i say it took 15 minutes just to write the invoice

We charge a service call out fee and let customers know this up front and once we discover the problem with the old unit we do need to get parts to repair the unit. The customer has the right to wait on parts to be ordered and be without heating or cooling. Almost every time the customer would rather us go pick up a part at a supply house now to repair. Depending on the unit there are several suppliers we must call the locate the part to do repairs and sometime the supply house is 20-30 min away and have to wait in line to get parts and we have to change a markup for what we pay and the price online is for parts that take 7-10 days to get or You can pay more for parts we must purchase. We must charge for our employees time to work through the entire process and we bill with industry standards. Not all pats online are exact comparable to parts actually used for repairs and we have had some people order their on parts for us to install and find out the part was not the exact one for that specific hvac system and can’t use it..We like to take care of our customers and get them what they need for their system.
