Honest, fair & dependable. The owner cares about his customers. We use their priority program to have our unit serviced spring & winter. We have called them out before for other issues, and once the owner came out to check on something for me - he let me know there was nothing actually wrong, just my Nest thermostat not reading accurately. He did not try to sell me on anything, and didn’t even charge me for coming out when he easily could have!

Don't waste your time with this company! Made an appointment as my dad recommended this company. I had just purchased an investment property and knew from earlier home inspection it required a major amount of work on ac system and replacement of ductwork and needed to get their recommendation as to exactly what to do and what it would cost so we could get started. Made appointment with Jacob, the dispatcher, for Friday 7/31/20. I was told someone would be out after 12 but probably no later than 2-3. No one showed by 3 so called and Jacob told me they were still working but Chandler would come today and worst case might have to come tomorrow morning but were still planning on coming. At 5:15 pm I called again and Jacob gone for the day but answering service had tech in field - Chandler - call me. Discussed the details of what I needed and he said he had tons of jobs and would be working for many more hours that evening but definitely would not be able to get there until the next day. You would think the dispatcher - Jacob- could have let me know that before he left for the day! I totally understand emergencies etc but CALL ME IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF COMING THAT DAY SO I CAN STOP WAITING! Chandler told me he could come at 10 am on Saturday. Saturday at 9:45 am got a call from a substitute tech because Chandler was too busy with other jobs to come. Obviously this company doesnt need this job. This project was complicated and would require someone who really knew what they were doing. The substitute tech got all the information wrong and didn't know what he was doing or what I needed and seemed new so I said never mind as it would have been a further waste of my time. How do these people stay in business? Don't waste your time. I will be using someone else.

The air conditioner at our condo (outside Baton Rouge) went out, so I called a local company for service thinking it just needed charging. When they arrived, in a matter of just 10 or 15 minutes, it was diagnosed as needing an entire new unit, inside and out to the tune of $4700. An estimate with diagnosis was written and I was charged $85 for the diagnosis. After boasting about how many units they have replaced in the complex, they left us with no air for the weekend. The following Monday, I called Total Comfort in Baton Rouge who I have used for 10+ years, and asked if they would drive out to check the unit. When the technician, Tony arrived, I did not tell him about my prior experience. Immediately, he questioned why my compressor was completely disconnected. Still not saying anything, he completed the check stating a rusty contact could have caused a flipped breaker, which he replaced. The unit has been blowing ice cubes since. Total cost…$148.00. I then revealed my story to Tony, who then appeared not surprised about that local company. Thank you, Total Comfort for the quality, honest work you have provided our families over the years. And especially thanks to Tony, your professional technician, who has always provided us with professional, courteous service. Thanks a million (or at least $4700, for now.)
