Jeremy the service tech explained and showed me where the leak is on my Hayward pool heater. A plan was put together and scheduled for repair. Very pleasant to work with. Would recommend this company to family and friends.

Total Comfort has done AC Installation and electrical installation for our residential home in Daytona Beach on Fairview Ave. Fair price. On Time. Professional. Receptionist knowledgeable. It's been a pleasure. Five star company. Thank you Total Comfort. They did it during covid in the hot summer months. No one else wanted to do it. Tough job they made easy. Thank you again!☆☆☆☆☆

I chose this company because of the great reviews on Google. I would say that the work got done but they were not as easy to work with as I was expecting based upon the many favorable reviews. The service call did not start well. They did not call 20 minutes before as asked so they just arrived. We had to make arrangements to have someone meet them so that caused some confusion that could have been avoided. Our HVAC system needed a new motor. The tech described how "expensive" the motor was without actually giving us a material and labor breakdown of the estimate. These days everything can be verified on the internet. So the motor can be purchased for $500.00 (free shipping) and they charged over $1100 total for the job. OK. Maybe they overpay for parts. I don't know. But most companies of this size buy wholesale which is usually cheaper than the consumer can purchase. It took less than an hour to install the new motor. So the rate for HVAC work is somewhere between $250/ hr to $400/hr not the $100 or so they charge for service call labor rate. In addition, there was some confusion around crediting the first service call to our bill but, it turns out that was only if we purchased a whole new system. Both of the people present at the first service call heard it that if we went with them to do the repair that they would credit the first service call. They would not budge at all on the $100.00 charge on an over $1100.00 bill that took less than an hour to install a $500.00 motor. The bill is not itemized with parts and labor so they are able to hide their actual split between what the markup is on parts and what they actually charge for labor. I don't know the actual profit associated with this job but, it seems these days, many companies are willing to gouge their customers. You decide.

Mr. Cummings we have had some technical difficulties and have been unable to respond to reviews until now. We are very sorry that we didn't live up to your expectations but we feel we quoted a price for the repair and kept to that price. Unfortunately, sometimes motors from original manufacturers are costly. We have experienced almost 40% in price increases from our manufacturers during the past year. That along with spiraling fuel prices have made it difficult to maintain prices.
