  Jon from Thompson’s responded to my message the same day and set up a repair appointment for the next day. He was on time and had the needed AC starter cap replacement part with him, so the repair was quick and got our house cooled down again in the middle of a heat wave. We have been Thompson’s customers for years, since they replaced our AC and then later installed a gas fireplace.

  Very knowledgeable staff, which is why I went with Thompson. Most of the other HVAC vendors don't know the technical details of heat pump systems and just BS answers for the hard questions, which is a non-starter for me. Very happy with the Trane products. On-time, nice work, and wore masks.

  I first used Thompson’s Heating and Air in 2017. My AC condenser broke on the 1st day of a two week 105+ heat wave. I called every company in and around town to try and get someone to look because I had 4 cats that were suffering and every store had already sold out of portable AC units. Thompson’s was able to work me into their schedule for the next day, but when the 1st tech looked at the unit he told me the coil was cracked and he could not repair it. He then called Jon, the boss, thinking that maybe he, with his vast experience and knowledge, might be able to do something. Sadly, Jon could not repair the cracked coil so we discussed ordering the new part and that it might take a week or longer to get. Long story short, Jon, knowing that we were desperate, drove over 100 miles to a warehouse to get the part we needed and spent the entire day Saturday repairing the unit. It was a really amazing level of customer service that you just don’t generally find from any company these days. Most recently we had them out to service our AC and to get a quote for moving the condenser out of the way for future yard renovations. They did such an amazing job and they were able to relocate the unit to an area of the yard that I did not think was possible, completely out of the way for any future projects. I will forever use Thompson’s Heating and Air for all of my AC and heating needs.
