  They came out to service right away, but after repairs, they kept changing their mind on what was wrong. They have been out 4 times, and it still isn't working. The unit is only 5 years old. Everytime i called them out, they charged me another service call, even though it was for the same problem. And everytime they decided that it was yet a different problem than the first. I guess i don't mind paying for parts, but to continue to get hit with service calls and labor charges seems ridiculous. And of course, to date, it still is not working. I would think someone would contact me and try and work this out. BUT, they just keep sending someone out, billing me and the unit still does not work. Very poor service quality in my opinion and i will not recommend them to anyone.

  Thank you for your input. I would certainly like to help you with the issues you are experiencing with this unit. I show that we did an evaluation, replaced a main part and in the process of replacing the part, we recommended a few additional parts that were rusted and rotting away. The other calls were on different units that we had also found some repairs on as well. Unfortunately, these parts for the unit that you are referring to have not yet been shipped by our supplier. We have reached out 3 times now to follow up with this part and each time the ship date gets pushed out. Since this part is specific to this manufacturer, there is not a generic that can be purchased. We have considered custom fabbing this part, but due to the construction of this bracket and being part of the burner assembly, we are not able to fabricate this part. Unfortunately, parts supply is a big problem across the globe with many products. This unit is 27 years old. Average life span of a rooftop unit is 15-20 years. An alternative to repairing this unit is to replace it with a new unit. We have found that we can get new units quicker than the parts, depending on the brand and options.   I cannot say enough about the fantastic work done by K Company. Tim, TJ and crew were extremely professional, on time, polite and all just great. The work we had done involved installation of a new furnace on the ground floor and the quality was unsurpassed. Thank you to the entire K Company crew.
