Pros: Electric carts if needed. Very helpful staff. Wide variety of most all things for your home and garden/yards; building or established.
Cons: difficult maneuvering electric carts in some areas. Lots of aisles blocked. Need more organizational items for kitchen and bath, especially drawer and under the sinks organizers.
Will go back. Nice garden selections.

The store was not busy at the time I went. I already knew what I needed heading right to the kitchen department. I just knew I was going to have to search an employee. Nope.

Pearl Wilson, yes I got her whole name. She asked me did I need help. I told her what I wanted. She pulled everything up for me. No pushy sales tactics or anything. She told me everything I needed to know and answered all my questions. Her service alone has me wanting to go back to the store for anything I need. I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes!

Its nice to receive genuine customer service. Especially during this pandemic.

Had a curbside pickup order ready for us. Arrived and called the number in the email to notify them we arrived. The lady who answered said she had nothing in her computer showing we were there to pick up. My husband said: yes, that's why I'm calling to let you know I'm here to pick up my order. In a seriously rude manner, the Home Depot employee responded: we aren't doing it this way anymore, we are trying to push the app, and I'm not supposed to bring out your order unless you check in on the app, so next time download the app and check in that way when you get here. I said loudly enough for her to hear me: next time, Lowe's is literally across the street, we will go there instead. Rude customer service is not worth an app to us.

Sold me a broken washing machine. Hasn’t worked from day one and I was never told I only had 48 hours to check the if it was “functional” IM SORRY WHY ARE YOU SELLING DYSFUNCTIONAL MACHINES HERE?! And if that’s the “policy” you should do a MUCH BETTER JOB TELLING YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS POLICY!!!!! I’ve watched people take back BROKEN TOOLS WITH NO RECEIPT and get their money back!!! But NOT a washer?! Unacceptable. Now I have to pay for YOUR SHADY MISTAKE. Maybe you should do a better job making sure your selling machines that actually work!!!!!

Edit: I’ve also never come across anyone working in this specific Home Depot with a genuinely good attitude. Everyone seems miserable and that it’s a giant chore to help you or go out of their way to get you help. Cashiers are never friendly and I think people are paid to walk in circles and avoid helping people. My advice would be to hire people who have a CLUE what their doing, have a good attitude or maybe re train current employees.

This location offers machinery for home projects  which includes interior and exterior. This one is called a grinder that helps to grind insets on the floor. (Tile) The representative there was very knowledgeable about the equipment and very friendly. I would recommend this location.

Melissa in Customer Service was very patient and helpful. I had purchased a battery powered tool that had a bad battery.  Vendor policy required my exchanging the entire tool and battery kit. Melissa let me test the new battery at an electric outlet at the store.  All was working well.  I appreciated Melissa's understanding and assistance.

I ordered online and picked up my item from Home Depots lockers.
They were very quick and easy to use and required no social interactions.
Would definitely recommend.

I went return 2 items...the young lady was in the processing my returns, another employee (Salvador)walk up & grab 1 of the item I'm returning and says where is the rest of it bzc, I didn't bring back a full bottle of the cleaning solution...I'm like wth, none of your business...the young lady waiting on me didn't ask me why I was retuning it...she proceeded to refund me my money with a smile...but Salvador had to intervene. Totally out of line.

Elias in the garden department was AMAZING! Jon R in garden was also helpful. But Elias went above and beyond to help me get the Christmas tree I really wanted. He helped me take the items to the cashier and then helped me load the items in my vehicle. I couldn't be happier with his customer service!!! Thank you Elias!!!

Forget the Olive Garden… Home Depot treats me like family!

This review is long overdue. We recently completed a two-year remodel of our home. Needless to say, Home Depot became our 'home away from home' and we spent more time (and money) there than anywhere else! That said, the Hutto location has moved to the top of the list of my favorite home improvement warehouses. The store is always clean, organized, well-stocked, and the employees are always friendly and helpful.

Although there were many who have helped and assisted me over the years, I’d like to take this opportunity and commend Ricardo (currently assigned to millworks) for his exceptional, out-of-this world customer service! He’s my go-to guy for ANY home-improvement question I may have and he hasn’t failed me once. Thanks to him (and YouTube), I’m now completely comfortable running electrical circuits all over my house, installing recessed lighting, etc., something I never dreamed of doing. And to top it off, he always has a smile on his face while patiently answering all of my questions. Home Depot- if you’re reading this- don’t you ever let this guy go! He’s worth every penny and then some!

All in all- I couldn’t be happier with the service and the products I have received at this location over the years. A big THANK YOU for always making us feel like family!
