  I want to be very clear about this review, so I'll sum up right here what follows: If your home or business is in or near Tallahassee, do not contract with any other HVAC firm without first contacting Tommy McAuley at TMAC Contracting. We prematurely needed at our eight-year-old house a new HVAC unit, a new air handler and a significant remodeling and replacement of our entire in-attic duct system. Like others, Tommy advised us on what we needed - but, unlike others, he also advised us about what we didn't need and shouldn't spend money on. This behavior, this magnitude of integrity, was not unique - we had been told to expect it from a friend who also contracted with Tommy. In the end, Tommy and his experienced crew of TMAC professionals did exactly what they promised to do, right on schedule and at the agreed-upon price (even though they discovered along the way that the job required more time and equipment than they anticipated). And they were a pleasure to work with and be around. Trust me. I am not getting anything for this review. Don't contract for a major job - or even just a service call - from anyone without checking first with Tommy McAuley at TMAC. You'll see what I'm talking about.
