I need to express the range of our feeling here for Swift Services, Heating, Cooling and Electrical. I absolutely admire Ward Purvis, as personable and straightforward as he was. Your technician Tim (who is easily one of the most impressive technicians I have ever come to witness), the very dedicated Jonathan Stevens, and Dave Coyle today was helpful, caring and personable. I appreciated Tim and the work of your electrician Dontae, both so much, that I tipped them when they did the two installations for us, for our home and for running 110V to heat and cool my new work shed. I like both of them very much. They are hard working men . However, an event occurred on Dec 7, 2020 while we were sleeping that Swift was clearly responsible for. Carelessness when our units were installed in February 2020 created an electrical fire in a junction box that endangered us and resulted in our living without heat for 3 days. Apparently the neutral got loose somehow in the box Dontae installed a year ago and it arced and knocked out our system at around 3am as we slept. This happened on a Friday and we went without heat for three days, because you couldn't get us the parts for an emergency over the weekend. Dear Swift, we paid more than $22K for your equipment and services this time two years ago. I also had Dontae back for an additional $900 to provide me with 110V conduit-laid electric service for my shed to further the value of the business between us. When this fire happened, I fully expected an apology from your company after this was successfully repaired for having endangered my home and family. I expected someone to tell me that this never happens and how very sorry your company was with us having to go through this. Something, anything, to let us know how rare this happens or how seriously you take this...this was what we expected. What did we receive? I was told by Jonathan and the initial electrician that we wouldn't be charged for this. Why would we with a newly installed system less than a year old? The only thing we received was something similar to your request here today for further endorsement and ratings, which we didn't answer at that time. We give you one star and this commentary expressing our disappointment with you. I expected to have trouble free heating and cooling after getting our new HVAC systems from you two years ago. I also expected today's technician, Dave, who was thorough, friendly and very helpful, to have been told to waive the costs of this visit and maybe finally send and extend the apology that never came so as to say: "electrical fires and three days without heat? That is not us. We are Swift Services and we are better than that." I rarely ever respond to these customer evaluation forms that are so commonplace now, but there you are. I would recommend that the next time anything this serious occurs, you send more than a form letter to the customers endangered. I would recommend a far more personal follow-up with situations as this. What do I think of Swift Services? Since this happened, I only think of you and this incident every time I pass by a home burned to the ground.

We were concerned when a musty smell in our system brought to light issues we had in our system. Swift worked with us to right the situation and went above and beyond to make sure we had the equipment we needed to keep the air in our home safe. We really appreciated being able to communicate with understanding management and the very fair outcome to our situation. Installation of the new parts was done quickly and in a courteous, polite fashion. Everyone working for Swift who was involved was supportive and professional and we appreciated the incredible customer service we received at each step of the process.

Appointment was between 10 and 1. Arrived shortly after 2. I had to track him down after a few calls to the office. Once he arrived things went fine. Very professional and polite. Nice young man. Please have the times appointments appropriate. No one from the office reached out to me.
