  Appointments only and they force you to call their phone number to make one because they don't come to the door with the door bell ringing. They don't answer the phone either. Typical government ran facilities that is owned by the people.

  We have fostered two mama kitties that we picked up here and both had upper respiratory infections. One was pregnant and they had to term her pregnancy. The other had newborn kitties and they all died from the infection. And we've heard that we are not the only ones who have dealt with animals getting respiratory infections from this place. Y'all need to figure it out. It's inhumane and unacceptable.

  This is by far one of the cleanest shelters I have ever visited before. The dogs and cats available for adoption are very well cared for and the prices are reasonable considering everything that is included. I adopted a dog from them and was very pleased with my experience. We absolutely love her and I couldn't have asked for a better addition to my family. Rebecca has always been very helpful every time I have needed it and their newest addition, Heather, is just as great. It will be a sad day for animals and the community in Sumner County if either of these wonderful ladies ever leave Animal Control. Keep up the great work!
