I will not be using them ever again. I have given Tony's a/c a LOT of business. They have installed several units and serviced them in time of need at two different houses where I have lived as well as at my brother's house and his business. Their current staff is made up of the rudest people to ever try to run a business. They failed to call me back for 10 days when they couldn't locate a replacement for an evaporator coil. This was after I paid them $350 just to add Freon to temporarily get it working again. Then, after I had the coil bought and delivered on my own (as they requested), they wanted $600 just to install it. I called more than 24 hours before the appointment to cancel because another company quoted me less than half of that amount. They actually yelled at me on the phone when I simply called to let them know I didn't need their services. They actually said to "do them a favor and never call them back ever again." Then he hung up on me. I can't believe it. This is the complete opposite of good customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this business.

I had a problem with my thermostat for 8 years. At my request the thermostat was moved to another wall to avoid the air blowing on the thermostat and having the thermostat above the heat-producing TV. Nothing helped despite repeated attempts by the technician. With another company, Munns, they put in a new thermostat (only two years left on the warranty) and the problem is solved - the temperature is right on. I am elated after having no control over the temperature which varied from one or two degrees above the setting to one or two degrees below the setting. That was not acceptable and now with the new thermostat, the temperature is exactly where set. I'm elated. Summa also installed a mini-split on the lanai but the noise of the pump was bad. Three techs came over and decided to move the pump to the attic. That reduced the noise but it was still audible. Munns said there is another pump that makes NO noise. It will cost $499 including labor but at least I'll not have the noise any more. Summa did not offer this solution.
