This company came and gave my mother a quote to repair the leaking gas line from her tank to her house. She paid them 250 to diagnose the problem. Then agreed to have them repair it. Come Monday nobody showed up. She called and they said the entire company was sick. So ten days of 20 degree weather later they showed up and fixed it in 2 hours. Ripped a board up on the deck and laid the regulator against the house. Left the board up because he said he didn't have a saw. While looking at what they did I shoved my hand in the trench they dug and found the new gas line maybe 5 inches underground. They couldn't even bother to fill the trench back in and smooth it out. I don't know if they thought they could do this and get away with it because it was for a single lady who wasn't watching them work or if this is the standard of their work. The fact that they couldn't show her an itemized bill that showed where 2200 dollars went should say it all. For a trench 6 inches deep and 25 feet long. All around pathetic excuse for professional work

I called them because I had only 5 minutes of hot water. They came out said my bottom heating element was bad. Charged me $240.00 to replace both of them. Called back a couple days later stating that nothing had changed. They came back said my water heater was bad and it has to be replaced. Bought new water heater that day it was installed. Still only had 5 min of hot water. Come to find out I had a water leak underneath the house on the hot water side only. After $ 850.00 was spent in total, I'll never call them again..
Response from the owner
The customer indeed called because he only had 5 minutes of hot water. He was charged $69 service charge to assess the issue and make a determination on what repair needed to be completed. This information was entered in a tablet program and the customer approved the repair which cost $173.27. Two days later, the customer called again stating it was doing the same thing. Our technician returned (free of charge) and found a leak at the top of the water heater running down inside the water heater. According to the water heater serial number it was manufactured in 2015, so this water heater was 7 years old. The model number indicated it was a 50 gallon water heater. (According to Google, "While today's water heaters are better designed than older models, they still require regular maintenance in order to prolong their lives. With regular inspection, draining, and flushing, you can expect a gas water heater to last anywhere from 8-12 years and an electric water heater to last anywhere from 10-15 years.) The customer purchased and installed a new water heater. No other calls were received by the customer until this morning, Monday 3/7/22, stating he wished to "file a complaint". The customer stated all that had happened including the fact that the technician had told him the water heater was leaking at the top. The customer also stated he found a "pin hole" on Saturday which was the cause of the hot water lasting only 5 minutes. I explained to the customer the information or "complaint" would be discussed with the owner and we would get back to him. By noon this review was left before the owner had an opportunity to speak to the technician and call the customer back. I regret we were unable to satisfy this customer's needs. Our technicians attempt a repair for the least amount of money first, which in this case was the element for a water heater not heating. At no time would the issue at hand have indicated a water leak below the house. He also indicated he found it on Saturday when most places would charge high prices, so he did not attempt to call. Sullivan's voice mails are reviewed all weekend and we would have been happy to assist him.

I got to work at Madisonville Garage Doors and realized our air conditioner has stopped working. I called multiple places to see if they could get to us today, the first one who said they could get to us today was Sullivan’s. They arrived in just over an hour. In about 30 minutes I have the air conditioner working properly. I did not do anything without telling us what they were doing and asking if it was OK. No hidden agenda! They were very professional and did a great job. Went above and beyond anything we expected!!!! Thank you guy for a comfortable work day!!!
