  Came out and replaced my grandmothers already old furnace from the 50s or 60s did it in just a few hours great work. Kevin Steinmetz and Andrew were very knowledgeable and just amazing people, Steinmetz heating and cooling is a first class company who cares about its customers and you do not see alot of that anymore!

  Our home warranty company scheduled this company to come out on Monday after we called them on Saturday because our heater stopped working(on a 27 degree day with snow on the ground). Since they couldn't come out immediately, we paid another company to come out within 3 hours on Saturday, and their tech showed us the cracks in our heat exchange, and advised us to go ahead with the appointment on Monday, because the unit was unsafe to use, and the repair should still be covered. Steinmetz came out on time, but their tech scoffed at the pictures we had of the cracks(provided by the other tech), said they were just water marks, and refused to actually pull out the blower to inspect the heat exchange himself. After asking him to leave, we called the company and spoke to Kevin, who was so condescending and rude, we called our home warranty provider and had this company banned from every coming to our house again. A cracked heat exchange can release carbon monoxide, which, if undetected can KILL. If you have a choice, don't use this company.

  We have had Steinmetz to our house (and my parents house) a couple of times through our home warranty company. They are the ONLY company that AHS has provided that has provided outstanding and fair service. When they say they will arrive between 10 and 2, they are there at straight up 10:00 every time. Andrew with Steinmetz has been professional, helpful and fair. This is saying a lot considering the companies don’t make much money off of home warranty repair. I would recommend them anytime.
