Great inspection, just freezing r butts off waiting on new furnace

Had them replace a boiler system in an apartment building. The installer was very professional and efficient. It was a tough install, but they stayed and finished it in one day. All debris was removed, everything was left clean, everything was done just the way they said it would be done. The final bill was exactly what there estimator Joe said it would be. They are not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for, and I will use them again.

Awful experience. I'm very disappointed in the owner of this company. Tried several times to contact him. finally got a call after I wrote him a letter about the issue's with a bad damper that was installed in my new residence. I spent a lot of money for new A/C and heating, had them do plumbing as well close to $8,000. They were very good in the beginning but as the job was completed things went south. I needed some time to pay them off after applying for a zero interest credit card spoke with someone in there account and explained this to her didn't seem to be a problem, as soon as I received the Credit card I paid them in full. Was a little confusing in knowing what to pay a different invoice for every different job (must of had at least 4-5 different bills. I paid them in full. Then shortly afterwards I had a noise in the system which was a bad damper motor, would wake me and my wife up 3-5 times a night. contacted them they said can you record the noise (what the heck) why not just send a tech out to fix it. had to prove the noise issue. finally after several times of the tech coming out stated he couldn't hear the noise. Finally the technician that design the system keep out with this technician and was able thru  different settings was able to cause the bad damper to make this annoying sound. Yes! he said bad damper need to replace it. Sent the tech to Bryan got another damper. Only problem had to tear out drywall (pics available). in order to replace the bad damper stated they would pay to have my dr5ywaller fix it. Well I needed help in adding a small wall mount hot water heater at my business so I had starks do this, sent me a bill for close to $500.00 I wrote the owner stated since we had the (3) months of awful noise issue keeping me and my wife up and having to deal with this issue for over 3 months, plus let alone the cost of repairing our drywall I thought it would only be fair to waive the bill for the business repair. Think about this 3 months of contacting this company trying to convince them that their was a bad noise coming from the A/C unit and having multiple times of their tech coming out stating I can't hear anything. but finally the technician that design the system was able to come out (first time) and thru setting's was able to imulate the bad damper motor noise. Stated yes, it's bad need to replace it, and yes will pay for the replacement for tearing out the drywall. Sorry for the (3) months of the terrible noise issue. Bottom line. I own a business as well. If I had of put a customer thru all this I would of waived the other cost to be right to the customer. Not the case here. Owner states we are done don't call us again. Really? I would always communicate and be fair to any customer.  Communication is key. This sounds like a situation where sorry for the trouble we caused yo (3) months hearing a bad damper in your bedroom. Sending a technician that wasn't sure what the problem was, but yes the man that design the system he figured it out same day he came out. So, sorry customer we didn't take care of this issue in a timely manner. Action speaks louder than words. Action here sorry we dropped the ball on you when it was something we could of taken care of sooner. and what else can I say. terrible out come. At this point I can't recommend this company. Good people but not following thru with the bad damper issue speaks for itself. You decide if this is how you would want to be treated. I'm a reasonable person this is not good for me, spent thousands of dollars with a company I thought I trusted and now the company owner states were done with you. umm...guess they made out leave the customer better for us. NOT RIGHT! I SEE THE OTHER REVIEWS AS WELL, APPEARS COMMUNICATION IS NOT THE ANSWER HERE AT STARKS. TAKE THE CUSTOMER AND LEAVE THEM HANGING, GOOD PEOPLE WORK THINGS OUT NOT SREW THE CUSTOMER. WORKING THINGS OUT IS BETTER FOR BOTH PARTIES. AGAIN YOU DECIDE FOR YOURSELF IF THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU WANT TO TRUST AND HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH. SINCERLY, DALE SULSER

The guy that came out, looked unhappy to be there and seemed high on something.  Had another contractor come out and they told me that the guy didn't do his job and test things. Horrible company and they work for the insurance company. I would never wish this company on my worst enemy.  Save yourself the time and money go somewhere else. Be better off doing it yourself.

Called them because my well was running constantly. The guy came out and all he did was look at my pressure tank and said it would need replaced at a cost of $600-$700. Then I recieved a bill saying "labor" to reccomend replacement of pressure tank.....really "labor". I can understand paying  the service call price but labor for a recommendation that is a bit much I'm afraid

Called Starks on a Thursday or Friday to see about a service call. We never heard back from them, so we called again and they came two days later. hen they came, they assumed it was a fuse, but it wasn't. So then they assumed it was the board in our furnace causing our AC not to work. They ordered the part and didn't come back for about 2 weeks. When they came back, they showed up late and the part they ordered wasn't the problem. $315, our AC still doesn't work and this has been about a month long process trying to deal with Starks. We are not happy and will never be using or recommending services to anyone.
