  This company is a joke! We bought a home with their stickers on the electrical panel. We had a water leak out of the pan. So I made a appt. And corrected the names and address with the lady that answered the phone as we just had bought the home. They came out the next day and said it needed a new internal pan as it was cracked. The worker was very nice. He said the office would call me with a quote. So I waited 2 weeks and no word. So I called and asked what was going on, jack said we were on the schedule and that he had to order a pan and it was under warranty since they installed the unit. I was very surprised but happy. He said it would be in by the end of the month cause it was in back order. So 1.5 months later I called to see what the status was , and again I talked to jack. He said he was still waiting on it. I told him to call and find out. He called me back 1/2 hour later and said it was in, imagine that! So we scheduled a time for his techs to come out and replace it under warranty, remind you I didn't even know this unit was under warranty, the company told me it was under warranty. So today they come out and literally get the job over half done and the office calls the techs and tells them to stop the work because now I will be responsible for all the labor, 400 to 600 worth of labor if I want them to finish the job. Now mind you, the have the whole air handler taken apart and had all ready cut a truss beam out to get the old pan out. So the workers tell me to call the office to work out the details. I go around and around with mr. Stapleton explaining that jack had told me the job was under warranty, so ifinally get a call from jack says the best he can do is reduce the labor rate from 135.00 a hour to 95.00 a hour. I told him thats not good enough, he needed to stand behind his word. He says he didn't know that the home had been sold, and I told him that I had updated that info with his secretary before they ever came out. I told him to talk to mr. Stapleton about what he promised me initially and get back to me. Mean while his poor workers, Jeff and Garrett are sitting in their truck in the driveway. They were stuck in the middle of a bad situation caused by jacks ignorance. Well after jack hung up on me, the workers came back in and said they received a phone call from jack to put the cracked pan back in and put it back together as is. As it sits now I all ready have drywall damage from the leaking drain pan. I suggested to Jeff and Garrett that they find employment with a company that has more integrity than Stapleton. I will be posting this on every social media site and will forward a copy to the state of Florida. I also have pictures i will try to attach of the cracked pan.

  Mr Stapleton has been in business for 50 years. He doesn't advertise he is all word-of-mouth. He only does Tranes which cost more but the money I spent fixing the other companies mistakes far outweighed the cost of me buying a Trane. I regret not using Stapleton. They fixed all the mistakes the original guy made. Our home is older so it needed new electrical, new panel permitting, new everything!! Also The original guy never got a permit. So if the house burned down insurance would not have covered it. Anyway don't make the same mistake I made!! Go w the pros!!

  When mom's A/C was completely frozen up in Tampa, they came out really fast and fixed it. yay! See the photo of the thing before they came out.
