    Had an air conditioner install and complete furnace replacement done in December, I am very impressed with the top level customer service they provided from the first contact and throughout the install process and continue to provide for follow up as needed. They have been responsive to every call and question and sincerely work for quality customer satisfaction. Happy to do business with this company.

    Got maintenance done on our ductless system in 2020. Decided to prepaid for the next visit which I normally don't do. Why prepay? There's no discount or other benefit but thought I was helping out the company. Thought Covid might be hurting business back then. Ended up skipping maintenance in 2021. Just called to schedule a tune up for this year and was informed that my prepaid credit was no good. Expired. Prepaid service was only good for one year. Was never informed that there was a time limit by the original technician that came out. In fact, the technician wrote this in the notes "Customer to call when ready for tune up." In all fairness, it was in the fine print of the contract. However, I didn't get any email or other notification that my prepaid service would expire. So, I paid $198 and got nothing for it. Was asked if I wanted to schedule the maintenance any way and pay another $198. Umm, no, I do not. Can't fathom the thinking behind this policy. I spent 15k to install the system with Specialty. Every year thereafter (except one) I spend money for a tune up. Now, they lost that yearly recurring income for however long a Carrier ductless system last and no chance of me going back for any other installations. Not to mention, it's just a *&^% move. But hey, you guys stuck to the fine print, customer service and fairness be damned.

    Hello Eric, I am sorry to hear that your experience with our company was not 5- Stars! I spoke with our Service Manager and looked up the details on your account. I do see that your service agreement did expire before you called in for service. I do apologize that it expired, according to the details in our customer database we sent out multiple email reminders and several phone calls from our service dispatchers in an attempt to contact you to schedule. The service agreements are valid for 1 year, we give a 6 month grace period beyond the 1 year agreement before closing our your agreement. With COVID we gave a total of 20 months on the service contracts. We do appreciate your business and loyalty over the years, our Service Manager reached out to you try to resolve the situation and was unable to connect via the phone. He sent you an email explaining the situation and offered a complimentary maintenance visit for your equipment to be used by April 30th. Please contact us at 503-620-5643 to schedule.

    We had Specialty Heating and Cooling come in to evaluate a botched job by another business. They were always prompt, on time, and thorough in explanation. When it became clear replacement was the only solution, they provided clear estimates showing all options from cheap to high end with zero pressure. Staff always arrived on time, were considerate, professional, detail oriented, and cleaned up afterward. Will use them again when we add a ductless system to our garage
