  We bought a new TRANE unit when building our house right at 6 years ago. We have had to have service out at least 2x per year for things wrong with the unit. Sheltons even said we essentially got a bad unit. The past few months our electric bill has been very high. WE had them come out and the first time were told our unit was running great. We then called them back as it was running all the time and were told a coil was bad. The service man stated it was under warranty so we would just be responsible for the service call and labor. Today the company called to tell us the labor and service call for the unit they sold us that they have known was bad for 5 years was over $1,000. Needless to say we will not be shopping there in the future and have changed our heating and air service. Our new service company stated the price should not be anywhere near what they quoted us.

  Big shout out for the guys who came and fixed our unit. Heat wasn't working and they came the same day I called. Can't thank them enough! Workers was very friendly in both the phone call and service.

  On 11/17/2020 I had Sheltons install a gas line from the meter to the gas oven. I called days before for an estimate and was quoted $270-$300 to run the line. I scheduled it for today. They showed up on time everything was going great. After they had worked for awhile the boys realized that had forgotten the air compressor to check for leaks before hooking up the gas so had to run to the shop to get it, then came back and finished the job. (I am now wondering if that time it took to go back the shop, about 45 min. round trip, was added on to the labor portion of my bill.) The boys were great. However when it came time to pay it was $156 more than I was originally quoted. So a total of $456. The original total was $480 and he said he gave me a break. Long story short everything the boys done was great. Sheltons just gave me a low estimate so they could get the job. Everyone please be aware their estimates are cheap but when jobs done the cost is more!
