I only had a small leak in the inducer housing that just needed to be resealed. My home warranty sent Shamy Heating and cooling to fix the problem. The tech was trying to tell me there was other problems with the furnace and the Induser housing was cracked. He was doing that so can sell me a new one. Sure my furnace is old but is working perfectly fine and don't need to buy a new furnace. They decided to order a new inducer housing but will be in till tomorrow. I lived in the house 17 years and i know everything about my furnace. When i called the office and talked to a guy name Mark to explain to him he got very rude and cancelled the order. I asked him if he was the owner or the manager, he said he was the manager but i found out later he was the owner. I called M & M heating and cooling came the same day sealed the part that was leaking and in 45 minutes was fixed . The tech from M & M was very nice and he said their was nothing else wrong with my furnace. if you need service on your furnace or your AC call M & M .

This homeowner came to us through a home warranty company. He has a 34 year old Bryant furnace with a cracked plastic flue connector leaking a small amount of water. The correct repair (which we recommended) is to replace the cracked part -not seal it with silicone as the homeowner states the other company did. We contacted the only two OEM (original equipment manufacturer) distributors for this furnace in Toledo and none were available locally. We then ordered it for overnight shipment and informed the homeowner that we would have it the following day. He was not happy with that even though he had heat. He insisted that we contact a competitor of ours to see if they have the part. We told him we don’t buy parts from competitors and the likelihood of any of them having this part is very slim given that this is a 34 year old furnace when even the factory distributors for this furnace did not have one. The furnace was still providing heat so it was not an emergency, yet the home owner was relentlessly insisting we look for his part at a competitor’s store, stating he is losing money not being at work while his furnace is being repaired. We informed him again that we only buy parts from the factory and his home warranty company requires only OEM parts. Additionally, the home warranty company does not consider applying silicone to a leaking part to be a proper repair. We later received a call back and he began to explain that he found the instructions online on how to install this part and we were wrong in our diagnosis. At this point I told the homeowner that it would be in his best interest that he found another service provider. We then called his home warranty company to explain the entire situation of why we had to drop the contract.

He wanted to sell me a standard thermostat for 230.00 I was still left with no heat next morning tech came and I still had no heat charged again first check was cashed the very next morning. I will NEVER use Shamy heating and Air Conditioning again. It was a late night call tech kept getting text messages kept looking at his phone ???? A friend brought a basic thermostat for 27.00 and I have heat now 230.00 I question that price ??

This is a first time customer who contacted us on a Sunday morning at 12:30am. The complaint was no heat. The customer was explained the overtime diagnostic fee which she agreed. Our technician arrived and found a bad wireless thermostat. This type of thermostat is different and mush more expensive than a standard thermostat. She was offered and quoted both types however decided to install the same wireless thermostat she has currently has which we don’t carry as standard truck inventory since they are seldom found on systems we service. If she did install a standard thermostat this would require low voltage wiring to be installed from the thermostat back to the furnace which is time consuming and expensive since the wire goes inside the wall which explains the higher price and the cost difference. If this customer did not understand what was explained to her, I would have been more than happy to go over the two options the following morning however she never called.

Unprofessional, miserable family who not only insults every single client, but their homes as well. If i could give negative stars, i would have. Do not give these miserable people your business. They'll pretend to work on your appliance, take your money, & go back to the office & talk about how dirty your home was. You've been warned lol
