Service call $99 Scott said I needed new A/C and coil but could think about it or even get a second opinion, but took broken capacitor with him so harder for second opinion tech. Second opinion company was able to fix my unit for less than 10% of cost of new. Scott did return my service call check so that was really nice. And the owner replied to this review to investigate. Good followup.

Hello Ms Miller. As the owner, I'm extremely disappointed and upset you had that experience and appreciate this feedback. I have initiated an investigation into this event as our service techs are required to provide at least one "fix" alternative whenever they recommend replacing a system. If a system can be repaired (economically or not), we should be advising you of your options and allowing you to choose the alternative that meets your own current needs. Once I have more information, I plan to re-emphasize that customers should be given all reasonable options, even if we might believe the customer would be better served in the long run by replacing a system.

My heater went out during the cold snap, they said had to replace the furnace. Everything was back ordered, took a week. Get new furnace in & they leave - still no heat. Come back next day & replace breaker & heat comes back. Week later they come back to check the a/c since it was the same thing & now the heat don’t work again. We are around week 3 & all I know is I hve heat but a fuse from the outside is inside & they have changed my thermostat & talking about rewiring the apt. Nice guys but very unhappy w/the situation. Also very happy landlord is paying this bill & not me. This review would be worse if I was

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I like to investigate any and all service problems so we can do a better job in the future. Please feel free to email me (the owner) directly at [email protected]. I would appreciate any information you can provide. Updated 8-29-2021 After investigating feedback, and discussing with rental property owner (the actual customer), we found the following: 1. Suppliers did not initially have availability of equipment due to covid-19 (as reported), but delay was considerably less than a week as described and included a weekend when the suppliers were not open. 2. The last step in install process was performed by the rental property maintenance staff, who provided the thermostat. Unfortunately the thermostat wiring had been modified by unknown parties without approval of the rental property owner, and the system exhibited some anomalous behavior after start up by the property maintenance staff. 3. Upon notification by the property maintenance staff, our techs attempted to return and troubleshoot the system the same day but were denied access by the renter/occupant. They found it necessary to contact the rental property owner to obtain access - which was still denied by the renter/occupant. The occupant also made a number of derogatory comments including using inflammatory names for the techs. 4. Upon regaining access to the location through the property owner, our techs traced the non-standard thermostat wiring through the walls at no cost to the customer and corrected it and retested the system. 5. Renter/Occupant expressed satisfaction, after causes and issues were explained. However they subsequently moved out of rental property on short notice and did not return our calls. 6. The property owner (who was the actual customer) expressed satisfaction as to the resolution of the problem and understood the problem experienced was caused by work not in our scope. We completely understand and regret the frustration expressed by the occupant of the property. However, it is difficult to correct an issue in a timely manner if we cannot obtain access.

These guys do incredible work and are MUCH more reasonable than many of their competitors. Scott and Tom have been in the business for decades and really know their craft. The company has been here for 73 years, and their customers are always satisfied. Don't fall for the gimmicks many HVAC places use to bait and switch customers. Go with quality and experience!
