Sears serviced my refrigerator for not making ice on April 26, in May after changing the ice maker they discovered the compressor was really the problem, the soonest they could get a compressor tech to my home was June 5, now without explanation they have rescheduled for June 30. Meanwhile my refrigerator won’t get cold enough keep milk from spoiling. I am done with Sears.

I was extremely disappointed with the service. I haven't had the washer routinely maintained since 2017and he spent all of 15 minutes checking it. He said there were a couple of anomalies but brushed them off as nothing. Today I went down to do laundry and found the faucet in the washtub dripping, which it had NOT been, prior to his visit. So it's been dripping for 2 1/2 days. That's going to really help my water bill. If this is the kind of "routine maintenance" that Sears provides, I will not be renewing my coverage any more.

The technician diagnosed the problem with the ice forming on the back wall of my 2015 Kenmore Elite refrigerator. The parts came quickly and installation was quick and so far everything works fine again. As this was a known problem, Sears should have taken care of this through a recall/repair earlier. However, getting to this point was frustrating as I had to first attempt to converse with some person (in another country most likely) reading from a diagnostic script, which ended with me having to demand to be sent to the actual repair center. Then after being transferred to the actual Sears Appliance repair department, I had to go through the same list of questions, arguing with the scheduler before getting a technician appointment. Really? As we usually buy our appliances from Sears, this was not good customer service on the front end.
