Very poor service. I bought a Kenmore Elite dishwasher that didn't work. I called Sears and they set up a service call. I was scheduled for Nov. 25. They called and cancelled, rescheduling me for the day before Thanksgiving. They called and cancelled that day too, rescheduling me for Dec 2. They called and cancelled this day as well, rescheduling for Dec. 3. All appointments were between 1 and 5. I have changed my plans twice and now 3 times. I have sat here for 3 days waiting and now again tomorrow. So, I the plans I had for last week that I rescheduled for today had to be rescheduled for tomorrow. And now I have to try to change my plans again. I think we will have to load the dishwasher up and take it to the nearest Sears for a refund.

Because of Covid19, the serviceman was supposed to be wearing a mask and place protective covering over his shoes, as well as use hand sanitizer or wear gloves, as per the instructions given to me by Sears Customer Care, indicating that I needed to do the same to protect their contractors. I'm on a chemo drug, so I always do this. The serviceman showed up with no protection and proceeded to touch everything in my kitchen including my kitchen table. He stood very close trying to get the credit card to run through, which he fumbled with for 15 minutes. He fixed the dishwasher, replacing the pump, a day after the warranty ran out. $360 and a month later, my Kenmore Elite model# 665.1277 has no power, I'm assuming due to a bad fuse, motherboard, or connection within the housing. Everything else checked out okay. Among other things, after 3 years, the top rack broke and the wheels continue to fall off of the bottom rack. This was an expensive machine. The service is very pricey. I'm buying something different if I can't find a reliable and reasonable serviceman. Shame on you, Sears.

Customers are able to update schedule on Sears' Site. I like that. Our freezer was off due to grandson's surreptitious manipulation. All it took was to set the controls properly and lock them. The technician was professional, timely courteous and did not laugh at us.
