  This refrigerator has had the same problem. It has never been fixed and this has been the 4th time someone has been out. The refrigerator sounds like lawn mower. I was told I'm not the only one with this same problem, which didn't make me feel better. The refrigerator was not cheap. It's a lemon! Thank God I bought the extended warranty! JUNK.

  The tech was professional, courteous, attentive, instructive and just an all around good man. He engendered trust from the moment he arrived and continued this behaviour until leaving. IF I were rating this repair JUST on the tech alone, this would be a 5 STAR review. I'd look forward to at home service calls more with gentleman like him at the helm. I regret not noting his name for this review since I didn't write it down. NOW, that being said, the charges for the call were ASTRONOMICAL and cost prohibitive. Sad to say I will NEVER call Sears again for a service repair when fees of this amount are presented, particularly $80 JUST to show up (that in no way was applied to the total cost of the repair)! That is absurd and insulting. I literally felt prison raped, especially being a loyal Sears customer for YEARS, when presented with that fee and THEN to add the total cost of a 20 minute computer module replacement repair. (Luckily I had a coupon for 20% off appliance repair but STILL! You could have gotten a NEW washer for around that amount) NEVER, EVER AGAIN Sears!
