Made appointment online on Friday for Monday, a minor miracle by itself! Very good communication by text as for the arrival of the repairman. The latter even got here early! Another miracle! After diagnosing my problem, bad control board, I was quoted a repair estimate that was close enough to the price of a new dishwasher. I turned down the repair and paid the $99.00 for the diagnosis. Upon further research (Google, YouTube), I found out that I could do the repairs myself and the part price, including tax and shipping, would amount to less than a third of the estimate I was quoted! Lesson learned, research, research, research, but if needed, I would call this service again because they are professional, punctual and knowledgeable, but at a price.

I contacted the repair service around Feb 4 about my refrigerator they sent out Feb 6 the tech who came was great he diagnosed the problem. That’s when things went bad after he ordered the parts & had to schedule appt. My appt to fix appliance was Feb 25 & my parts arrived Feb 12 with the concern that the appt was so far out. So my appt date comes an the tech had to cancel from an accident, but I ended up having 4 more appts that was canceled an rescheduled. I received no call no show an waiting all day. Having to call them to only find out it was cancelled & rescheduled time after time. Cust service took my info & was not very helpful fixing my issue an telling me they were escalating my issue to no avail. I finally got it repaired on March 22, 2022. So this is what I have to show & tell from being without use of my refrigerator, and having to spend money to eat out. Numerous days & nights Thanks Sears Home Service for our nightmare experience!

I you can get through the call w/"office staff" (the person that sets up the service call), the technician(s) are great. Oh yeah, let's not forget about the 100's of reminders they bombard you w/to remind you of your scheduled repair visit - emails, texts...so annoying that I will try a competitor next time!!
