I booked a service call 3x weeks in advance to fix a dryer. The technician (Peter) called the afternoon of and told me he couldn't make it that day and that the next available appointment would be 8x days from now. I live 9x hours away and made the appointment 22x days in advance. The Tech had absolutely no empathy and refused to answer my question of whether he would be upset under the circumstances. I cancelled the call.

Absolutely unreliable. We only booked them as they "were available" to come in. On the day, they turned up in the morning (we booked them for the afternoon) as "they were in the area and it was convenient". Then we only received automatic rescheduling for next week with no explanation. When we called the technician (our only point of contact), they said they probably can't make it to us by 5pm and don't work overtime. As per they site, they mention that they will notify you what time they will arrive within the window you book (not randomly), we did not receive such notification (had they contacted us at least 1 day in advance that they'd turn up at our door in the morning instead, we could have made it work). I'm obviously annoyed as we only booked these guys as we wanted our issue resolved before Xmas.

Very disappointed. I was able to get an appointment for a service person to come out the very next morning. When he arrived, I had to remind him to wear a mask. He said he had already had Covid19, but would comply. He talked and talked and finally checked my oven. It only needs a part, but he billed me $288 for labor just to insert an element that had burned out. I did not know the charges until I received an e-mail stating the cost of the part ($91) When I called to dispute the charge, it took hours to reach anyone, and finally I was told there was nothing they could do about it.
