Our technician, John (Statesville) was awesome. I do agree that Sears needs to be more involved in physically scheduling their technicians because it's unfair to working people to not have control over the time someone comes to their home. John was great and gave us his personal cellphone number so we could connect on everything happening with our washer and dish washer--including scheduling!

I don't know if this review is for the Statesville office but in general Sears Appliance Service has the absolute worst customer service and scheduling I have ever dealt with. My home warranty company is using Sears to repair my washing machine and dishwasher. For the Washing Machine the first tech came out and did fine, he ordered parts and they came in a few days later. He mentioned to us that it would be a two man repair and he would make sure we were first on his route when he came back. We scheduled the return once the parts came in that is where everything went off the rails. They gave us an 8 to 5PM window and my wife waited all day and the tech never showed. He texted her at 5:30PM and told her he was on his way....an hour late after we waited all day. We contacted Sears scheduling (which is clearly based in India and they read from a script). We explained the issue and asked if we could be put first on the route as we had been promised the first time...they continued to state the script that they could not give us any guarantee of time but that we could call the day before to see where we were on the list. We called on Monday and had to leave a message, they never called back. We called their "customer service" and all they could do is continue to tell me that they could not guarantee a time and all they could do is send a message to their dispatch. So today is Tuesday, we had a guy come out and fix our dishwasher and they had another tech scheduled for later, between 8 and 5. When I called in to check why this guy couldn't do it they checked and realized they only had one man scheduled for the washer repair so now they have to reschedule that. We scheduled that for Friday with India Customer Service. My wife just got a call from the local office and they told her that they only had one tech scheduled for Friday so now it had to be rescheduled for Dec. 29th and they still won't commit to a first on the route appointment. I have never experienced such ineptitude and lack of concern for customer service. If Sears runs their whole company like this, I now know exactly why they are going out of business and in bankruptcy. Complete disregard for customer service...call anyone but them for your repair. If there was a less than one star review I would give that.

Got a "Deluxe" lawn mower service, the Tech did not replaced the blades, i notice that 10 minutes after he left and contacted customer service, they could not make him come back and wanted to reschedule the service 3 days later, I asked for reimbursement, and they could not do it, I can't just take other day off from work to wait for them to came back. Basically the tech stole from me and the company back him up.
