SEARS customer service is a JOKE! No wonder the company is going out of business. Our Kenmore Elite refrigerator compressor decided to go out in Sept 2021, its under warranty, SEARS comes a week later to make repairs on 9/13. The refrigerator goes out again 6 days later, compressor not working. I called requesting a refund for the labor I paid for due to the repair lasting 6 days and I have paid to replace my food twice already. After being passed around 7 times, I am told that department doesn't exist they send in requests. So I get a service number after I am told they are requesting my refund. Called 2 times and told they need more time on refund. Today, I called and hung up on, then I chatted them to get told, there was no refund request, and I can only get them to come fix it again. How long with this compressor last? I am not putting groceries in it anyway as I purchased another refrigerator already, but we will see how long it last. I am certain I will sell it or just throw it in the trash. SEARS has no resolution to this problem, they are just hoping it breaks next time after 90 days. Terrible customer service. I just want t refund on my labor since its obviously junk.

The technician came when scheduled, ordered the needed parts. We waited five weeks for the parts, washing our dishes manually. Same technician returned to install. Polite, efficient. Good experience. Dishwasher was on warranty. Unfortunately, only part of the problem was fixed. The dishwasher now washes the dishes, but the drying portion does not work. Another technician will come in ten days. More parts? Another month of waiting? This drama is associated with a Kenmore dishwasher, and this was the fourth service call on the warranty. Later, after yet another repair--the fourth, on warranty, since November 2021. We have had to wash our dishes by hand since then (February 4 today) while six parts were ordered and replaced at two different times. Three of those parts have been replaced three different times over the past eighteen months. Finally, we asked for Sears to replace the dishwasher, and the technician's superior would not honor his recommendation. (The superior recommended that we use a different kind of dishwasher cleaner.) We have a Kenmore dishwasher that "sheds" its rubber parts inside the dishwasher and coats the interior of the dishwasher and, eventually, our dishes. Three days later... The drying function, which the technician came to repair last week, does not work either. So now we have a Kenmore dishwasher, purchased in 2018, with an extended warranty, that has been "repaired" four times--but stilll "sheds" rubber in the interior AND will not dry the dishes. And the technician's manager's advice: Try a different kind of dishwasher cleaner. He will not consider replacing the dishwasher, but he has approved replacing three parts three times and a pump and a heating element--and sent a technician at least a half dozen times--and, I suppose, will continue to do that as long as the warranty lasts.
