  The washer is 2 years. GE scheduled this service. It took a week and he told me the personality code wrong and multiple error codes so motherboard must be broke. Wanted me to buy their warranty plan for over $600 for discount on new motherboard and charged $150 for this info. Upon further research, its correct personality code and only 1 out of balance error. Tried to call them back to ask questions multiple times however, noone will call back and call center said not their problem since we dont have a warranty. Obviously go elsewhere if you want someone who will fix your machine and be accountable

  They no longer stock appliance parts. If you need one ordered they will gladly order it and charge you a markup that doesn't make sense. If they can't get you the needed part faster than any Amazon search, why are they making so much profit on these parts? It clearly isn't a convienence fee...I ordered my part from Amazon for $16.37 and received it 2 days before sears could offer it...even with their price of $74. Please shop around and stop paying for a name no longer worthy of the reputation they charge for.

  I was given a 4 hour (1-5 PM) window for the repair person to show up. I called at 2pm to see if they had a better idea of when the person would be here. I was told that they would be in contact when they where on the way. He called at 4:45 only to tell me he would have to reschedule. Seriously, I have rearranged my entire day to sit and wait for nothing!! I won't be rescheduling 4 hours of my life again! I only gave one star because I couldn't post my review with out selecting a star!
