I tried to contact them to schedule an appointment and had to go through wayyy too many automated menus on the phone. Over 2 1/2 minutes of button pushing to then have it ring for minutes and never get answered. I’m going somewhere else where you can call and someone answers.

Justin was super prompt and had the compressor needed to repair our fridge. Had us running again in a matter of hours. Great service! Definitely won’t buy an LG refrigerator again, though.

Initially, when I called Sears Appliance Repair to repair my Samsung washing machine, I was impressed by the response to my call ( call was taken in India or Pakistan, sounded like). The repairman was at my home early the following day, and I was first notified by text, voice mail, and email of the anticipated arrival! The repairman was very polite, discovered the problem and explained it to us. He had to order a new pump, gave us his phone number to call and let him know when the pump arrived so that he could return to finish his repair. We were taken aback by the cost, totaling over $400, which we had to pay that day. We were told that the cost would be half that amount if we purchased a Sears home appliance insurance policy, which in itself was expensive and we chose not to purchase it. A few days later, the pump arrived, and I called the repairman to inform him, and he said that he would be here the next day. He never showed up or called, texted or emailed me. I subsequently phoned him 3-4 other times and it went to voice mail except for once, and I was told that he had been sent to another part of the state to work and he would get to me soon. After 3.5 weeks, a different repairman phoned and said he would be here the following day. He did come, fixed my washing machine and did a good job, cleaning up after himself. Overall the repair went well and the repairmen were polite and professional while here. But the long wait was very aggravating, and I would have appreciated a call letting me know they were swamped and couldn't get to me in a timely manner. Nor did they apologize for telling me they would be here the next day, then not only did not show up, but no call letting me know they wouldn't be able to. Also, not being able to wash clothes or anything else for that length of time was very inconvenient!
