A very courteous, knowledgeable service technician came out to service our Kenmore gas stove. He went through his protocol and when he left the problem seemed to be resolved. Our technician put on his floor covering over his shoes and handled the stove with care as he worked on it. I was shocked that Sears could set up this service call for less than 18 hours after I called in my concern. I don't know what has happened but this is the type of service that maintenance contract customers should become reaccustomed to.

First off, I love the online service request! It was very easy to use. I had to reschedule it and it worked slick to do so! Also, I was kept informed of when the tech would be there. He gave me a call to narrow down the actual time about an hour before he arrived. Great service! The tech was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He got right to work and gave us some good information about the newer versions of my appliance as my dishwasher is getting older and will eventually need to be replaced. I am very happy with the service and the final bill was very reasonable.

The tech was wonderful. Very kind and it seemed knowledgable. My dryer was fixed in about 20 minutes. He pulled my stove out and looked at it and agreed with me that I needed a new control panel. He did not do a total eval at my request because that would have cost me another $99 past what the dryer eval cost. He quoted me $450 for the control panel. He pushed the stove back in place. Days later I smelled a little gas but thought nothing of it. Today I made an emergency call to the gas company. Exactly as I thought, in pushing the stove back too far he cracked the gas line to the stove. . .another repair bill for me. And I was able to buy a new control panel from Sears on line for $168.00 and free delivery.
