Very Unprofessional! I scheduled an appointment to fix my icemaker. Sears scheduled me for Monday from 8am to 5pm. I live 2 hours away from my condo. I drove the night before to be on time for the repair tech. I did not get a call from SEARS Repair Tech until 7:30pm when I got a TEXT that he was not going to be able to go to the house to repair the refrigerator. I WASTED the WHOLE DAY Thanks to SEARS Unprofessional Business. They ARE NOT RELIABLE! TERRIBLE! Don't Call Them!

Let me start by saying that I have never felt I needed to leave a review for a business however in this instance I think it deserves to be said. I called in a repair on a dryer in my home and explained the part it needed. The Sears repair store sent a service man to my house promptly and he diagnosed the problem that I had already explained to them. He then instructed me that he would have to order the parts and would be a bit to return to repair at the tune of 500.00 dollars. Not being a absolute fool I got a second opinion from another local honest repair man Jimco Appliance and he promptly came out and fixed the issue for 230.00. By the way he wasn’t aware of the previous service call from sears! On top of all this Sears kept the service call money of 89.00 when the service man didn’t even pull the unit out of the cabinetry to diagnose the unit. Hmmm! I apologize for this review being so long but I hope someone out there that might not could shrug off being stiffed for an additional 270.00 dollars on a service call could avoid this situation. Took two weeks to scheduled an appointment to repair my Kenmore Elite Refrigerator purchased in 2016. The Tech was scheduled to show up between 8am-5pm, at 5pm I received a text that my appointment was re-scheduled for 8 days later. Very disappointed with the lack of service, tried calling the local number and was routed to someplace far far away..... SAD.
