Good repairman - but he is not allowed to call us in advance of his arrival! That is unacceptable! We work and have a life. Arrival between 8 AM and 5 PM is just ridiculous treatment of customers. We paid a lot for the extended warranties - therefore should at least be respected enough to have a definite time of arrival!

Highly satisfied with customer service staff who answered questions about my service agreement and switched me to a master agreement for the remainder of my contract period. Highly satisfied with scheduling and telephone/email notifications. Very satisfied with serviceman who diagnosed dryer problem and cleaned out dryer to prevent a fire hazard. The only disappointment was not being able to have the dryer cycle/timer knob repaired immediately because the part was not available on the service vehicle. The part was ordered and was delivered by UPS the following day. Sears scheduled a return visit the day after that, two days after the initial appointment. The only problem for me between the first and second appointments was that the dryer kept shutting off and I would have to go back downstairs to the basement to jiggle the knob to get it to work again so the load would dry. All seems to be working fine now. All in all, I would give Sears 4 1/2 stars for excellent service on this call. I would have given you 5 stars if your truck had been stocked with the needed part and the repairman could have made a repair the first time. But I am extremely grateful for Sears' service staff and how easy it was to schedule a repair under my service agreement. Thank you so very much. I wish all of you at Sears service a very happy holiday season. Keep up the good work!
