Nothing was done to fix our wall oven which stayed locked following the clean cycle. We've had 2 technicians come and nothing was fixed. The second one said the first one didn't know what he was doing......nice team work. We still have a locked oven door. Very disappointed and frustrated!

We contacted the service to assist with our broken dryer. They came within a week, did the diagnosis and said they had to order the parts. They also said the heating element was on backorder and may take a few weeks to show up. However, they still required a minimum of 50% of the total fees and labor costs up front, which we stupidly paid. Fast forward 3 weeks and 4 phone calls later to their customer service center. We still did not receivee one of the parts, were given the part number and told if we ordered and were able to receive the part they would come install it. I found the part, had it in hand 2 days later and called to notify them we had all the parts. They scheduled for 10 days later and then never showed up to the appointment. 2 more calls to customer service, including 2 representatives and 1 supervisor and all I have been told is that they were never notified I had the parts so they "cancelled" the appointment (never notified me even though I called them the day before and the day of to confirm and check the status of the appointment). They want us to wait ANOTHER week before they can come out to complete the repair. When asked if I could get a refund and just have someone else do it, they said they can only send a "request" to another department that I am requesting a refund. Refused to transfer me to billing, refused to authorize an earlier appointment or a refund for services we have not received. So 1 month into this, my dryer STILL is not working, I am out $200 and am told I will have to wait another week before they can come back out. I will NEVER use this service again. I will never recommend this provider to anyone of my many friends and family.

We were scheduled for a service repair twice this week, and both days the technician never showed up. On Saturday May 16, 2020 we waited (for the second time) at our house from 8:00am-5:00pm, and the technician never showed up. Then I get an email from Sears stating that the technician had completed the repairs. The service technician was never at my house today, and the parts for our range are still sitting on our kitchen counter. We have had two appointments this week, and have taken time away from work to wait for a Sears technician (Sean J.; ID #0693952) that has never showed up. I have called several times this evening and everyone I spoke to kept transferring me to someone else. I kept getting the runaround. I was on the phone waiting, and being transferred (six times) for over three hours, before I finally got ahold of someone that said they could help me. I don’t have the time to take another FULL day off work to wait for a technician that MAY, or MAY NOT show up. We paid a lot of money up front for this repair, and in good faith kept up our end of the deal by waiting two full days for a repairman that never showed up. I will never be calling Sear service again for an appliance repair.
