I bought a LG front loading washer with the extended warranty. The entire time I’ve had it its made a knocking noise every time is spins out. The first repair technician that came out said that I shouldn’t put more than 3 pairs of jeans in there! When I said to him “It’s a large capacity washing machine “ that’s why I bought it.” He said well...they say that but, they just cant handle that amount. The next guy that came Phillip with Elite Appliance Repair (They are a 3rd party repair service) said that it was not level, and leveled it (still knocking) Came out again and said it was probably something BIG and very costly so he would try to get his supervisor “Randall” to take care of it. After that I waited a couple of weeks and texted the technician and never got a response. I texted him probably 8 times or more , no response. I called Elite again so the technician finally texted me back. This time he said they are making him try the simple route first and ordered some parts (which is fine with me if that will fix my problem) I received the parts, took off work to meet him here in the “all day” 8-5 time frame that they give you. When the service technician got here they didn’t have enough parts! Sooooo, we wait another 2 weeks or so and he comes back and installs those parts (still knocking) He was here so long that I sent a plate of food home with him for dinner. He says he will talk with “Randall” and get back with me. That was on May 4th. Waited until May 17th. Texted him again 3 times, no response. I called Sears and they promptly tried to sell me a extended warranty for my whole house! I said why would I want to do that? I can’t even get my washer fixed. So he connected me with the warranty department and I stayed on hold for 45 minutes (my entire lunch break) and then it just disconnected me. I did this 3 times! The phone line to nowhere is what they do to the people that they don’t want to deal with. I guess they just try to wear you down until you get so tired and just give up! I’m not a quitter. So after that I received a text saying that a service technician is scheduled to come on a date that I never agreed on that I’m going to have to change because of my work schedule. I’m really not a hard person to get along with and pretty easy going most times BUT, this has been the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my over 50 years of life! I will never, ever buy anything from Sears again will never buy an extended warranty again because of this. Oh BTW... mine is up next month. (This has gone on that long.) Also, after all of this Sears just now sent me my first email to rate my service from January 23rd. JANUARY 23rd!!!!!! Well, here ya go!
