I made an appointment for Dec 13 with Sears Appliance Repair in Ashland, WI 4 weeks ago. On the 13th they sent 2 texts saying they would arrive between 8-5. I waited until 6 PM with no technician or even a phone call. When I called the Sears overseas call center, I was told the technician had tried to call and leave a voice mail but couldn't leave a message. This is an outright lie as I carried my phone with me all day and received other calls on voicemail. There is no record of Sears ever calling. The only remediation they offerred was to reschedule my appointment for Jan 10. I lost an entire day as well as a refrigerator full of food. The name Sears used to stand for quality and dependability but not any more, at least in Ashland, WI.

Andy from the Ashland Wi Sears store came to check my T300 lawn tractor's transmission out, we were having trouble with the reverse gear and the belts slipping. And the things the blades bolt to seemed broken the vibration was really bad, Andy tested it checked everything over found a spring in the trans was broken and the trans needed to be replaced, and the blade thing needed to be replaced, he ordered the parts, within 2 days he had it fixed and running like brand new. Andy you did an excellent job and thank you very much. All that work was covered under warranty. And he treated us like hometown friends and neighbors. Thank you Andy, we will do more business at your store.
