I only gave one star because I couldn’t give it zero stars. I expected someone to repair my washer when they showed up not a salesman to talk to. When I called I told them on the phone that I needed new suspension rods and that is what I expected. When the guy showed up I showed him my washer and after briefly looking at it he said yeah you definitely need suspension rods so I left him to it. After five minutes he came down stairs and started talking to me about all these new washers Sears has which I did not care about I just cared about getting mine fixed. Then he told me he checked his truck and he didn’t have any suspension rods and that he had to order them. I then asked him how much will it cost and he told me it would be $500 but I could get a new washer for $600. I said that is crazy how is that a $500 dollar job. He then said they cost $50 dollars per rod and I said how is that when I can order four for 50 on Amazon and as low as $30 for four. Then he began to say it is because of the rods I needed which I know is a joke. I feel Sears just made $99 for a salesman to show up just to get me to buy a new washer. I would recommend no one ever use this service!

The service is easy to sign up for, but it took a week or longer to get a service guy here. The repair man was very nice and knowledgeable. We now believe we need to get a new gasket installed around the freezer door and would like to request the repair guy to come back.

The tech was very pleasant and professional. Knew what to do to fix the problem, and he explained everything to us. I was very pleased with the service we got from Sears. I would like to find out who the tech was that fixed my washer on Aug 8, to let him know he lost his glassess in our driveway . We would like to return them to him, just need him to get in touch with us.
