This company installed the HVAC system in our new home in 2011. We upgraded the heat exchanger to a 2-stage system. The first winter we advised them the back rooms in our house were very cold. They sent someone out who turned the fan speed higher. It continued to be cold in the back rooms but we put up with it for 10 years. We finally called another company who examined the system and found that the furnace was not wired correctly causing the furnace to only operate at low heat (stage 1) no matter how cold it was. Two of their technicians could not find the problem. Why were there two wires dangling loose it the furnace and they didn't see them.

We used Schmitt for their Platinum Maintenance plan to ensure that air is running for the one season in Tampa (HOT)...The value and professionalism is unmatched. They even gave us tips and times we could use to ensure our system keeps running optimally. Thanks SCHMITT!!!!

If I could give them -10 stars I would….. 1star is too much for them. This company was extremely disappointing! Called Sunday requesting service for the next day since, our unit stopped working. Called Monday several times, was told repeatedly the technician will call me. From 9am-3:30 pm no call, no technician. Called back to request the supervisor’s name, had to pull teeth for that info, finally I became annoyed and cancel them. I had to called someone else which came within 1/2 hour. I felt discriminated and ignored. There is no amount of explanation suitable or reasonable enough, explaining why I never received 1 phone call back. We were thinking of upgrading our two systems. Since Schmitt was no show and totally MIA, they lost out on approximately $30k worth of business from us. Do yourself a favor, call someone else; they are not dependable at all and a huge waste of time! They don’t care about their customers….
