  Despite the number of lack luster reviews I chose Salego for the purchase and installation of a new oil furnace, central air conditioning and associated items. (Chimney Liner, Thermostat). The crew was professional, accommodating and personable. I secured (3) bids and all were within a $1000.00 of each other. Salego was the only one that offered within their original bid a matched set. Same brand furnace and AC. I am aware that this is not a requirement, but to me it makes sense if available. The Tech's had extreme difficulty with the chimney liner due to angle issues near the bottom. They worked through them with very little complaints and completed the job while protecting the aesthetics. Time will tell regarding the furnace and ac, it is September and "In between time" of utilization and dormancy. One suggestion to Salego: Explaining that the job may not be completed in one day and that the Tech's may need to return the following day, is a great representation. But when the job was almost put on hold over the weekend and I reiterated the representation of the next day, you made it happen. Now, that is what will result in "GOOD REVIEWS". Leaving a job half finished and the client looking at the half finished job only will place you in the same category as every other unreliable contractor out there and that is not a good thing. Contractors do not have good reputations and anything that you do that is a step above the others will glow in the dark! Thank You for a job well done! Update: 10/26/20 It has now been cold enough to run the new furnace on a continuing basis. Works like a champ! So much quieter than our old beast. I will stand by my 5 STAR review.

  I’ve owned this house since 2007. Any time there has been an issue with my central air unit or furnace, I call Salego. Every single person that I’ve dealt with has been fantastic. They’re professional, knowledgeable, helpful, responsive, and just all around a wonderful company. I just had a new furnace put in by them and I couldn’t be happier. Kudos to Salego!

  Tried to use this company through my home warranty. I am horrified. My furnace went out during the coldest day of the year, and my wife is full term pregnant and I have 2 daughters. They didn’t get someone out quickly. When Dan showed up, he told me I needed a new furnace and tried to convince me everything else was wrong in my house too. They did not submit the info to the home warranty company until 6 days after he came out. Luckily I have a brain and I had Beam come out And put a new furnace in and demanded my home warranty reimburse me for some of the cost which, after and hour and a half on the phone, they did. Adding up all the numbers, I literally would have paid more money out of my pocket for Salego to put the furnace in EVEN WITH the home warranty, than I paid to have Beam put a better furnace in, and they did it in under 12 hours. This company is crooked. Do yourself a favor and hire someone (anyone) else.
