  These guys are really great. We've used them three times, and each time we've been very happy with the service, the technician, and the price. Most contractors and vendors want to "sell up," but they fixed our 15-year-old unit and told us it might last another couple of years. That saved a LOT of money! Edit: Again, we called Royal Heating, and we told them we were thinking of replacing our aging system. They made a small fix and said we should stick with our old system a year or more longer. They literally turned down a "take my money" offer. Amazing!

  I have two zones in my house and durning the hottest days of the summer the main unit went out. I called another company to come out and look at the system and they quoted me $2,000 to repair it and almost $10,000 to replace it. This seemed high so I called Royal Heating and Air Conditioning for an estimate for a replacement unit. Tim showed up at the exact day and time he said he would and gave me an estimate that was half of the other company. He said his crew was very busy with the heat wave and he had about a four week lead time in his schedule but he could do a quick, "bubble gum", repair that could get us through util he could schedule our job. While we were waiting, our second unit went out and I called Tim and left a message on a Friday night. I did not expect to hear from him util Monday and was surprised that he called early Saturday morning and he came out right away to look at the unit. I decided to replace both units and the job was scheduled for the following week. His crew was professional, highly experienced, and very courteous. He replaced both units for less that the other company quoted me for one. Here is the bottom line: 1) Tim keeps his appointments and shows up on time. If he is running late, he calls to advise. 2) He is honest and did not try to sell me a whole bunch of upgrades that I didn't need. In, fact he recommended that we not do a couple of things that I suggested. 3) He charges a fair price for his work and installation of new units. 4) His crew is very professional and their workmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend this company for anyone who needs service or replacement of a HVAC unit.
