Be very wary of this company. My home warranty provider sent them out to my house to replace the air conditioner and it was a fiasco from the start. They came out at least six times and they weren't on time for any of them. Often hours late and not as much as a courtesy call to let meet know. It took weeks to get my new unit and I called my warranty company over and over. Each time I was told they still hadn't received the information required from Rite Temp. After they installed my new unit it kept turning itself off. I reached out to Rite Temp to tell them this and they did not return my calls or texts. Fortunately my warranty company had someone else come out and replace the board that controls the entire system. The worst part was that they told me I needed to have $3500 in duct work completed. I should have done more research but we did have air flow problems so I believed they could help and told them to proceed. The issues were not resolved, in fact they grew worse. I had two other HVAC companies come out to look at my system afterwards and both, unprompted, used the word "nonsensical" when they explained to me how the ductwork was installed. That is a really odd word to hear twice from two different people about the same issue. I had to spend an additional $3000 for another company to re-do what Rite Temp promised they would. *update* Our AC hasn't worked properly since they did the install so we had a respected company come out to evaluate the situation. They came out today and would not touch our system because the install was so bad. To work with them they would make us replace the entire unit. Here are the notes from the invoice. "found water in secondary water safety bec coil was not leveled properly during install, liquid line is 1/4” and needs to be upgraded and liquid line dryer was never replaced from r22 install aux drain pan is too small for coil. Will need to replace all equipment." That's not me giving an opinion. Those are the notes from a well known and respected company in Atlanta. The drain pan being too small has also lead to water overflowing and caused damage to our ceiling.

This business is owned and run by quality people, who are talented, professional, compassionate, honest, and dedicated. They treat their work as a vocational ministry and they treat their customers as valuable people in need of their support. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my Home Warranty coverage, which delayed their desire to replace my unit for over a month. I knew that even if my warranty denied my claim that it was not for lack of advocacy or hard work on Rite Temp’s part. They advocate on behalf of their customers and they don’t cower to outside pressure when it comes to their customers. And, if they are sent to your house, they relate to you as their customer! Even if I had been forced to pay out of pocket, having them as my service provider would have been a major blessing. They even went out of their way and made extra trips to put in my equipment. Today, they came to my house and put my new unit in, during the rain, because it became available and I had waited over a month and was having health issues. I cannot say enough good things about Rite Temp Express and the people who work for them. So nice and personable! AND! the customers who do not give them good reviews, because their warranty company blocks them from replacement or repair, these customers are so off the mark! I have had a lot of air conditioning companies in the past seven years and none have been honest or tried to help me like this! Do yourself a favor, trust Rite Temp and use them…even if you do not like your situation or their limitations. Believe me, they want to help. God bless all of them. Thank you thank you! My home warranty company paired me with this company and I really wish they hadn't because it was a waste of $100. The first issue was I had to call Rite Temp after I found out they would be looking into my issue I was having with my AC unit. Not sure how long it wouldn't taken for them to reach out to me had i not called them. I was put on the schedule the following day after I called, and the technician (whom I do not know his name because he walked in my house with no mask and didn't introduce himself) was in my home for all of 15 minutes and said he found the issue and it was caused by the company who cleaned my coils. I later found out from 2 other technicians that that was NOT TRUE. The second issue was it took the company a week and a half (no exaggeration) to send a COMPLETE diagnose to my warranty company. It took them 4 days to send half the diagnoses and that wasn't sent until AFTER I had to call and inquire about them sending it. The third issue I had was when I called the lady who answers the company cell phone ( and I say cell phone because I called one time and she was in the car and couldn't look in the system because she was driving and for ME to call her back) answered the phone as if it was her personal device and I had to asked if I called rite temp. In short this company DID NOT fix my issue because once the home warranty received the FULL diagnoses they cancelled the claim because there were too many red flags in the diagnoses. So ultimately I was paired with another company to fix my issue and they handled my problem a LOT faster than rite temp could send in a full diagnoses. in short I would not recommend this company to anyone.
