  I cannot fathom why a tiny village of 750 +/- people got a District courthouse over the city of Espanola that boasts a population of over 10,000. Clearly nepotic politics had something (or everything) to do with it. That having been said, the courthouse and court staff and Judge Lidyard are super helpful, friendly, competent and a joy to work with.

  Updated July 17th.. Google still has not changed address from Los Ojos to Tierra Amarilla 87575. May 28, 2018.. Google still has not updated the address it is State RD 162 Tierra Amarilla NM 87575. Come on Google it is called the ta courthouse because it is in t. A.. Not Los Ojos..... You can get paperwork on anything here. It is a historical place. They once had a stand off with people and county officials about the Tierra Amarilla land grant. It was known as the t. A. Raid in which people stormed the Court house back in the 1960s. The national guard was also called. This dispute still goes on to this day. There where still bullet holes up to until there was a renovation down about 10 years ago. Very secure building now updated with the newest technology. Please mark as helpful if you feel this review has been.

  They never answer their phone !! This is very frustrating considering they are very far! They need better service!
