  It is with great sadness that I am at a point that I have to post a negative review. As we have tried all other avenues to resolve with the Contractor in question. In person service appointments (Which he charged us), texts, and letters, etc. He responded with false claims, more lies and we have the facts backed up by texts and images and time stamps. Mike Riley of Riley Heating and Cooling installed faulty equipment into our home when installing a new HVAC / Air Unit. $14,000 it cost us. Yes, $14,000. It wasn’t working right from day one. In which we called him to check it out. He made up some excuse about the filter and the line (WE HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE OTHERWISE HIS MEN TRYING TO COVER UP THEIR MISTAKES). Then we called a month later, and a month after that, etc. etc. Each time there was a different excuse - its too hot out too cool the house, its my staff they said the looked into it but I guess they didn’t, its the filter, its not under warranty, etc. etc. Costing us an additional $3k to date for repairs. And when we finally came to our senses that he was not going to fix the job or do it right, and that he STOLE our savings, we called a reliable contractor. Pictures to prove the leak and faulty compressor, and on top of it questionable on the actual technology used and did not install the latest options. As we are finalizing quotes, it is about another $9k to fix and re-install properly. More money, More Money, More money. We text Riley, and sent letters requesting on good will some of our money back. Not even all, just some to cover the Re-installation. For his faulty equipment. For his lies to us. For his acts of business conduct. To be a good human and fix his wrong. So unfortunately he responded with more lies - I NEVER write negative reviews about a local business, I do not want this happening to other people. Feel free to PM me and I will recommend a reliable, LICENSED and INSURED contractor who will do the job right. This has not only caused us a financial burden, but an emotional stress and burden that is unexplainable.
