We have used Rick’s refrigeration exclusively for about 8 years for all of our refrigeration needs at our grocery store. They are efficient and effective. They go out of their way to provide needed service and every emergency is treated as such. We have never been left wanting if our needs were, in any way, able to be met — even on holidays, weekends or after-hour calls.

I highly recommend Rick's Refrigeration. I have been using them for years for my commercial business, Madison Foods. Very professional, fair, and easy to work with.

The first time they serviced my make table the young man was awesome. Except the fan did not get out back on correct and it worked it's way off which causes the table to go down and I lost $100 of dollars in product. When I called and talked to Amanda she was very rude and told me they don't guarantee their work after 30 days was not covered yet it was not working due to their guy not properly putting it back together right. Then Amanda told me after hours rates was $200 yet the service rep was here at 3:30 and I asked him several times if it was after hours he said no he got there before 5. Yet when I got the bill I was over charged for after hours rates. When I called and talked to Amanda she was the rudest non professional person I have ever dealt with. The was yelling at me telling me I was a liar wow yelling at me because she told me after 5 not any other story. Talking to customers like that should be grounds for being fired.

Rhonda, We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our company. Unfortunately, we do only have a 30 day warranty on labor and parts and a 90 day warranty on parts only. Your original call was two months prior to us coming out again which anything could have happened within 60 days of a refrigerator running that could be caused simply by normal mechanical wear. As far as the overtime charges go, on days when our on call technicians start getting multiple overtime calls which would put them working past 8:00pm at night, we will adjust our schedules and start on our overtime calls early, so they can still make it home to be with their families and not work well into the night. On this specific day my tech actually started at 6:00am that morning and had 4 overtime calls that night, so we adjusted his scheduled to take care of your and other restaurants emergencies. When you spoke to my secretary in the morning, she informed you of the charges and you confirmed that the charges were ok because you had to have this cooler. There must have been miscommunication on our part with the technician which we greatly apologize for, but you were informed of the charges prior to the service call. When you called about your invoice, our secretary tired to inform you she is not responsible for adjusting our invoicing, and she was not going to argue with you about the charges and you need to take your concerns up with the owner. Regrettably, you hung up on our secretary before you could resolve any issue. Again, we are sorry you had a bad experience, and we have modified the way we explain our charges and handle invoicing disputes.
